For the money this drone is hard to beat. It flies well and takes good 4K videos. IMO, it appears they sacrificed controller quality and the lack of optical flow for a good 3 gimbal 4K camera system which is fine with me. This drone is perfect for me as I am new to this hobby and am more interested in video quality than exotic features and ranges that exceed line of sight. I am also more relaxed flying a $300 drone instead of a $1000 drone.
What I like:
Flies well and seems pretty stable for only employing a barometer with the GPS
Video quality – pictures & videos
Several “Return to Home” safety features
User support, e.g., QCGuy on YouTube – many great “How To” videos show how to fix anything
Extra battery prices are very reasonable
Spare part availability
Uses both GPS & GLONASS
The IOS app – I really like it, still gets updated and improved

Battery Charger – I don’t use
Things to Consider:
I use a hobby grade battery charger (SKYRC B6 AC V2) to charge my Zino batteries. The Hubsan battery is a LiHV @11.4V, not LiPo @11.1V. The battery should be charged at 11.4 volts with a charger that has LiHV balanced mode. I charge at 2A for longevity. So far, I’m happy with the plus 20 minutes (see attached flight log) of flight time. These were mild flights and represent best case.
When not using the Zino for 3 or more days, I complete a “storage mode” charge on the batteries.
I use the UAV Forecast IOS app to determine if “now” is a good time to fly, in particular, the Wind Profile feature that shows wind speed at higher altitudes. On one occasion the direction and speed of the wind at higher altitudes made it difficult to get the Zino back home; not impossible, just more difficult. This was not a fault of the Zino, it was operator error on my part.
The firmware update procedure may be a bit too technical for some users – review the procedure before you get the Zino and ensure you are OK with it.
