...a refreshingly traditional-style mystery that will captivate the reader. The plot is smart, twisty, and complex.. Lehman has created a rich, complex setting populated with well-defined and varied characters. This is a wholly original and very enjoyable read.
Once again the strong, fully developed main characters are here and forming a very solid basis for not one case but three! By now I am hooked, so I can’t really say this could be read as a stand-alone – but why would you want to. Start with "The Fibonacci Murders" and work your way to this one. You will not be sorry.
I immediately became engrossed in the action and remained glued to the end... Dale Lehman is a new author to me and I cannot get enough of his books – fabulous, clean murder mysteries that have me hanging on his every word. I do hope there is a book three.
It is always a pleasure for the mystery/suspense enthusiast to include a new author in the genre who has a total mastery of the storytelling arts including character development and superbly plotted story lines with all manner of twists, turns, and surprises.... A genuine 'page turner' from beginning to end, "The Fibonacci Murders" is very highly recommended...
Whew! This was a COMPLETELY different direction from Lehman’s normal books – and I loved it... The adventure was constantly taking me for surprise – I never knew what was happening next but I was absolutely loving it. All in all, I’m so excited to have been able to read this new book from Lehman and I cannot WAIT to see what he writes next!!
This quirky heist story is utterly delightful.... Bernard has the brains, Melody has the heart, and they both have the looks... for better or for worse.
The charming cast of characters all bursting with personality makes "Weasel Words" a cozy pleasure. I can't wait to see what the Earls get up to next!
Despite the huge range, the stories follow a natural flow between realism, surrealism, and everything in between while maintaining the author’s signature voice... For anyone who enjoys thoughtful, well-written short stories in a full range of genres, "The Realm of Tiny Giants" is a no-brainer.
