    This version of HeroQuest is as good as the original and I would know because I still have the original. I bought it for my kids and we get along playing a lot of different quests. This game is expensive to start out, but it comes with a lot of stuff. A lot of heroes a lot of villains a lot of quests you’ll spend hours playing it’s not a one and done kind of game. It’s not monopoly where it’s the same thing over and over again it changes each time with each quest. The expansion packs are just as good.

While the dice are now plastic, they're high quality and the different expansions often come with cool variations on the dice. The furniture are solid and well-detailed plastic now rather than cardboard assembled on plastic frames. I'm impressed by the new figures; they're much more varied and interesting! Really impressive improvements! And so many EXPANSIONS!

    Initially i thought that they sent me a used item. There was damage to the box and some of the plastic tabs that hold the box together. To have been tampered with. However, upon opening it everything inside was found to be brand new and Factory fresh. This is a terrific game and I am really glad that they came out with it again. They have updated the pieces so that they are far more creative then the original set from many many years ago. I highly recommend this, especially when it is on sale. If you would love to play D&D but we're afraid of the complexities, this is definitely the game system for you. They even have an app that can run the part of the dungeon master so that you can play one or all of the characters even if you are by yourself. It is remarkable.

    This is a really nice addition to the Hero Quest game. Nice quality set with figures and cards. I own the original game (got it as a kid, early 90's?) and the new release. They are very similar, but the new version is a little nicer. The figures are strong and have more details, you can even paint them. The card stock is great, it seems "tougher", like it will last longer, if that makes sense. Anyway, the new add-on's, particularly this one, are great. They add a lot more story and variation to the game. These add so much more replayability, it a no brainer to get this or another one. The value here is also really good. Plus, the more you get, the more value you add to the entire game. You can't beat it.
