Mountain Men

I enjoyed this movie a lot. It was surprisingly funny for a film about two brothers who get stranded in the mountains during a snowstorm. Chace Crawford and Tyler Labine were great and were believable as brothers. It also had some touching moments. If you have the chance, watch this movie.

I hadn’t heard of this film before, but the boyfriend and I stumbled upon it last night looking for movies on Google Play. Well, needless to say, we haven’t laughed that hard at a movie in a very long time!! This film looks like a crazy one just by the cover art, and it definitely is. BUT, it’s crazy in the best way. The things that happen to them (aka SETTING A TRUCK ON FIRE) while trying to find this squatter in their cabin are so laugh-out-loud hilarious, a lot like The Hangover but definitely wilder. I’d like to know what else Tyler Labine (Toph) has been in because he was fantastic! I was surprised to see the gorgeous Chace Crawford doing something other than Gossip Girl, but it definitely works for him. Anyways, we really liked the film, so glad it’s on Google Play!

Excellent independent film! Strong writing, directing, and acting performances including Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl) & Tyler Labine (Deadbeat). Cinematography is also terrific. Worth checking this one out!
