This books was so good!! An easy read, fast paced thriller that will make you question everything. I thought I knew how it was going to end, but boy was I wrong!! I love when books surprise me! It makes it better read because when it’s predictable I find myself getting bored.

This book definitely made me question who you could trust and what I’m putting online.

A definite must read if you love thrillers!

I enjoyed this suspenseful story. This is a new author for me which I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a well written story about Kat. She seems to think that she is being stalked on the internet by someone. But is she really? Is someone out to destroy her or is she destroying herself? This is a fast paced, easy story to read. A hard to put down story that is engaging and kept me coming back for more. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning. The characters brought the story to life with all the twists and turns. A great story full of action that you don't want to miss. I highly recommend this book.

Be careful of who you trust seems to be the theme of this book. The book mostly goes back and forth between 2 lives, 10 years apart, until present day which is fine for the first half of the book but when the second half hits and both lives are in the same years, the book shifts. The character either changes, or we see a different side to her and it's a bit odd after reading the first half. This book is pretty good and kept me trying to figure it out although I had my suspicion quite early in the story. Enjoy and be warned, some parts are quite graphic.

What a wild ride of suspense this book takes you on! Alternating viewpoints from the murderer and the main character, Kay, you will be guessing till the very end on who actually is the bad guy! Graphic descriptions of the murders were hard to read but otherwise enjoyed this one!

Misper was a fast paced thrill ride following Kat, an alcoholic, arm chair detective & her desire to find out what happened to missing person Sophie Shaw.

I enjoyed this thriller, it kept my interest throughout & I enjoyed getting chapters from the killers pov. I did figure out the killer early on but how everything ended was a surprise. Overall I thought this was a great story & I would definitely add it to your list if you like thrillers!

I was so eager to read this, that although I had a hard copy in the post - I downloaded it to my kindle whilst away so I could read it ASAP. The main characters were all fleshed out, relatable and as they progress you build up an empathy with them. As you go, the plot gathers momentum and leads to a satisfying conclusion. Being a Gloucester resident all my life I appreciated the cultural references to my hometown. I struggled to put this down, eager to see how the story developed and I wasn't disappointed.

I have read books by Christine Jordan before and found them to be very enjoyable. Misper, her first modern day thriller, set in Gloucester is also a thrilling read and I could barely put the book down until I finished it. I didn’t see the conclusion coming and I am sure many others will enjoy this book. She researches well and has a confident grip on her narrative.
I recommend.

Gripping, fascinating, page-turning, SO well written - I absolutely devoured every page of this book.

The characters were brilliantly crafted and I loved the Gloucester and Bristol settings. There were a few twists and turns that I wasn't expecting too. Always a bonus!

I do hope this fantastic author has more like this up her sleeve as I cannot wait to read them. I was blown away.
