  • Is the ride smooth, even if the scooter does not have an extra suspension?

    Absolutely! Riders from Rider Guide report that they found themselves going faster than usual due to the scooters stable "bicycle-like" ride. Also, they report that they had to slow down less for curbs or turns as the air-filled 12" tires smooth out the ride very well.

  • How is the scooter packaged and delivered?

    The Mercane Jubel ships in a thick cardboard box with an additional over-box and shipping bands. We ship by FEDEX ground with signature required to ensure your new scooter does not disappear from your door-step.

  • How long does it take to charge the battery?

    With the included charger, it takes between 8-10 hours for a full reacharge.

I purchased a mercanne jubel from fuidride. When the scooter arrived, I took it for a ride to work after charging it as advised. After 3 miles of riding, it died, and I had to take Uber to work. I reported the scooter issues to your customer care, and they decided that shipping the scooter back was the best option. They sent me a shipping label to send the scooter back. They sent me a second scooter that was in worse condition than the first one. This one had a fogged screen. The rear bumper reflector was clearly cut, and the charging port was missing one of the pins. It looked like there were some sort of debries inside of it. Again, I reported the issue, but this time, they sent me to one of their store to get the scooter repaired. So, I took a day off from work to take the scooter to get repaired just to be accused of breaking the scooter myself and made feel guilty for purchasing a broken scooter. Anyways, at the end of my visit, the lady went to the back of the store and brought what it seemed to be another used scooter to trade for the defective one I had brought to the store. This scooter had a bent disc break and needed adjustment, which she took care of while I waited inside the store. I took the third broken scooter with me with only one key since they didn't have a second key available. I didn't feel right leaving the scooter at the store without a refund and they were asking me to leave the scooter at the store bit it would take a bout two to three week's to get it back. I had to go on a planned vacation which I was supposed to bring the scooter with me but didn't since I didn't trust the integrity of the scooter. I tested the scooter around the block before I took it home, and it seemed okay. But when I got home, I rode the scooter for a few miles and noticed that the rear break made lots of noise. I'm so disappointed at the situation and can't help but feel like I've been taken for a loop at my own cost of $900 dollars. At this point, I don't feel like I can recommend anyone to purchase a scooter from fluidride. I would recommend going to a nearby scooter store instead and picking a scooter from their inventory instead.
Now, I received emails that they wanted to close the case since I had not responded to their emails. The last email I sent to costumer service was asking for a refund since I'm fed up with the situation, but I didn't hear back from anyone. Now I'm on vacation riding a rental scooter while having what was supposed to be a new scooter purchase in my garage. SMH. What a nightmare this has become.

Attractive scooter, performs well with the tall tires and wide board. The acceleration and timing of the throttle could be improved. Overall above average scooter. Thanks fluidfree! We now have 2 wide wheels, 1 horizon, 1 wolf warrior x, and my jubel.
