    If you want something "Heavy Duty", then this is certainly a positive candidate to keep in mind. Only 2 things I could nag about: 1. Wished there was more attachment points available, but what's present is pretty good as is, depending on your situation. 2. The magnets are actually inset a little bit below the framed surface, which does affect the magnetic connection to the item/s. Let me say this tho...once it's magnetized to the surface....it aint coming off easy...lol, and I say that in a positive manner. Worth the purchase?...Definitely. *Thumbs up*

    I saw this at a gardening workshop and it seemed like a great idea and design. I ordered it, it came quickly and the price was OK. Packaging was great as well...but.... Then I started to install it and noticed it came with two flathead screws for wall installation. Good, beefy screws, but flathead?...really? Why? The slots with very narrow, meaning I only had one or two smaller screwdrivers that even fit the screws, couldn't use a drill driver or my best flathead screwdriver. Plus, the item itself is a giant magnet, meaning the screws and screwdrivers would both be sucked into the magnetic bar instead of where you want them to go, which is the screw and screw hole. Eventually I ended up going to my collection of spare screws and using two phillips head screws to install instead of the two provided with the unit. This meant they didn't match but the installation went easier once I moved to the new screws. I would have easily given this item a 5 start rating but the installation was made so much more difficult than needed due to the flat head screws provided.

    I got this to store tools for my lathe in a very limited space. I was worried that the magnets wouldn't be powerful enough to hold the cartern and sons tools w/handle on. And for all but one, the heaviest roughing gouge with the larger aluminum handle it can.

    Im going to order a 2nd just to shore up the mount but I was pleased.

    One thing that almost cost a star but I decided it wasn't worth taking away a 5. Who thought it would be a good idea to use a flat head screw?! Mount it is already a bit comical because the magnet draws the screw and screw driver tword the magnetic bar (duh, its why this product is good) but the flat head gives a slide out angle every half turn and my screw driver JUMPED at the chance to hug the magnet.. A Phillips head screw or something that had a bit more bite on the screw driver tip would have been amazing :)

    Thankfully I had a star head screw that would work. Was a LOT easier and a brass screw at that so no magnetic drift.

    Please consider sending it with two brass screws with at least Philips head, it might not be noticed but those who do will appreciate the insight with the use if a brass screw :)
