Amazing short hair cat brush

I have 2 short haired cats who both resist every grooming tool I've ever bought from the gloves, regular brushes, silicone brushes, etc. But the shed undercoat like crazy, so I decided to try this brush since the price was good.

Both cats immediately loved it. Even with just using very mild pressure to brush them, they both flopped over purring and allowed all full groom. Just the fact that they allowed any brushing earns this 5 stars.

But it pulled off TONS of undercoat and loose fur from both of them very quickly. Amazing tool and it works beautifully.

The only downside is that you have to pause a lot to remove the hair on the brush if you have cats or dogs like mine who shed like crazy. Also, best to use the tool in a humid room or with a damp grooming glove after every few passes with the brush because the brush will create a lot of static so any loose fur will stick to you, your carpet, your wall, everything. The instructions say not to get the brush head wet, which makes sense because it appears like it will rust easily, so with a swipe of damp grooming glove over the cats every few brushes, the static wasn't an issue and I didn't have to wet the brush.

Overall, awesome brush that will absolutely get all that loose fur and undercoat on short haired cats quickly and easily. Sturdy but very light and the grip is comfortable to hold. Definitely recommend.

I have four Pomeranians a Chihuahua and a blue heeler and I use this on all of them the ease it takes to go through the Pomeranians hair is great. It easily takes care of their undercoat The Chihuahua and blue heeler it takes care of both their coats it's not hard to use it's light if it's comfortably in your hand cleaning it is not so bad and it's not hard on the dogs I have not had one Yelp when brushing them. With this brush and the other brush I got my dog shedding has been brought under control you do have to brush them every night though it even worked on the Chihuahua after he had a bath I will be getting three more of these for my daughters pets.

It's a great brush for my Boston Terrier. Love brushing him and watching his face as if to say "Man that feels so good!" and the fuzzy hair comes off the brush in a rolled up coil which I call "caterpillars" because that's what they look like. My dog keeps trying to eat them though so gotta be quick on the grab to throw them away.

However, the delivery was a bit..... odd. I ordered this living in Cabo in a gated community. The delivery instructions insisted on a signature, and I told the guards to expect the delivery and the driver refused to come inside. I had to drive to the gate to sign for it. When I got there they had already left with my package. Long story short, it took 3 days to get this thing from the driver.

When I did finally get it from the driver, the guards were curious about what was so important. When I showed them they were baffled! And thought it was hilarious too. All this for a dog brush!

Not sure who they used for shipping but may want to reconsider who they use based on my experience possibly.

But either way, my dog is shiny, smooth, and happy that he's not itchy from hairs falling out and poking him.

Great for pitty mix grooming

This brush in combination with a Zoom Groom is the perfect way to brush my short coated dog! I use the ZG to cross hatch her coat, then I use this brush to rake through and collect all the loosened fur. It's a perfect combo!
The ZG attracts the hairs like a magnet but it's hard to actually remove them off of her coat, and this brush can't rough up the coat well enough on it's own, it slips on her coat when it's smooth and going against the grain doesn't look comfortable. So together they are the perfect tag team!!
It's small enough that I can maneuver it around and collect hair easily on her body, but big enough to get brushing done easily.

It’s only lacking the fur ejector but that’s no big deal. I used to have a Furminator and other than the ejector I can’t tell the difference.

My cat has somewhat shorter than medium length hair, or maybe it’s medium. I’m not sure. But this works fine.

Looks like the comb part can be removed from the handle and used like a comb.

With all of these things you also need a brush to brush away some loose hair that didn’t get caught in the deshedder comb.

My dog is a 50lb great pyrenees and golden doodle mix, his coat is long and thick. We got this brush for him pretty early on in getting him and thought it worked pretty good. Then one day we borrowed a friends classic wire dog brush and we were kind of surprised at the difference. The classic wire brush didn't bother my dog as much and he even seemed to enjoy it. It also seemed to get more hair when brushing than the one I'm reviewing. We still have this brush but we ended up getting one of the classic style brushes and we use that one much more now. I would say pass on this one and go for the classic style one.

I cannot tell you how many brushes I have bought for my many fur babies over the years. This is by far the best brush I have EVER used. I used it as a regular brush as it was very efficient but overused it. The seller could post a warning to that effect with maybe some url links pointing to how to properly use it. Basically once to twice a week a few soft brushing from head to tail

I wad a bit iffy on this brush, because I usually like to feel the brushes before buying but I'm so glad I took a chance on this!

It works SO WELL

I have a Shollie and he sheds like crazy, patches of hair randomly showing up everywhere and hair in all my food. I thought I was going to live a life of esting dog hair and becoming one with my dog.

Thanks to this handy brush it had lessened the shedding and loose hairs!

The brush is a bit sharp when you first get it, so please be careful, but it is not too sharp to cut through your dog's skin. My dog loves being brushed and I use this mainly for his bum. He has lots of undercoat in that area but it works just as well everywhere else!

After brushing it leave a nice shiny smooth and less bulky area!

Highly recommended if you have a long haired buddy!!
