Art meets tone

Luna was co-founded by Yvonne de Villiers, an accomplished stained-glass artist who wanted to design instruments that captured a unique artistic vision as well as great playability. The design on the Tribal bass is representative of that vision and is a truly unique visual delight. The design around the soundhole is based on several traditional tribal motifs with a contemporary spin — a touch we really appreciate here at Sweetwater.

Mind blowing sound

I took a chance buying this acoustic bass.
Honestly what sold me was the mahogany body, spruce top and the tobacco sunburst paint.

I received it 4 days after I ordered it. It was carefully packed. Acclimated it for 24 hours. Opened it and checked the tuning and to my surprise it was close to being spot on. I appreciate that my Luna was personally examined. Played Rocket Ride by Kiss.
The sound was amazing and the low action is incredible. I'm so impressed. Thank you Luna.
