2.0 out of 5 stars déçue
rien ne permettait de savoir que ce livre fait partie des "Quick Readers" et convient surtout à des lecteurs qui essaient de s'approprier la lecture, je l'ai lu en 1heure et demie et je suis restée sur ma faim

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little narration
Though I normally like reading full-size thrillers by Patterson and other authors, the idea of a quick read struck me. As my book shelf contains many volumes yet to be read, I sometimes get a little impatient, so I thought this might be a nice little reading inbetween two fully-grown novels.
Restaurant owner Jack Barnes and his wife Zee are looking forward to spending a romantic Valentine weekend together. However, a mysterious stranger thinks what they really deserve for Valentine is death...
For some reason I thought this short novel to be more like an anecdote, so when I started reading "Bloody Valentine", I expected some evil stranger to try to kill the loving couple. So I followed the introduction of the novel's characters quite interestedly, when suddenly the actual story set in. As (don't ask me why, the title already hints to it) I did not expect the narration to be THAT bloody, I was really shocked by the ongoings, but in a good way.
I won't tell more about the contents, just so much: it was a really worthwhile read with high tension and well-built characters. So if you are in for some quick, suspenseful entertainment, this novel is the right thing.
