About this show

When mother of four Wilma McCann is found murdered near her home in October 1975, DCS Dennis Hoban leads the investigation but is frustrated in his efforts to find her killer. Alongside this we follow another mother, Emily Jackson, as she apprehensively turns to sex work to rescue her family from financial hardship.
