The Little Theatre on Halfpenny Lane: A heartwarming enemies to lovers romantic comedy

Since they were children, Aoife Carroll and her sisters knew they were destined for careers on the stage. But then their parents died, and Aoife took on a role she was totally unprepared for – parent to her younger siblings and breadwinner for their family.

She put her acting ambitions on hold, got a sensible job and contented herself with cheering her sisters on from the front row. But when they inherit their great-aunt Detta’s theatre, she’s ready to dust off her dreams and take her place in the spotlight alongside them.

Until they go to the reading of Detta’s will and discover she’s left a share in the theatre to her godson Jonathan, who wants to sell the ramshackle building, take the money and run.

So unless she and her sisters can sell him on their vision of stardust and magic, they’ll have to find the money to buy him out before the curtain comes down for good on Halfpenny Lane.

And as they fight to save the theatre, Aoife also finds herself battling a very inconvenient encore of her teenage crush on Jonathan…
