All the Cleaning Mode functions that Deebot 661 has can be enabled on the App. For the initial connection, a 2.4GHz signal is required. It cleans perfect . Easy to setup. It is not loud and you can watch Tv during the cleaning. I didn't use mopping yet , not sure if this is smart enough to not mop the carpet.

The seller was more than helpful with a return that was outside of terms and, in my opinion, not even their responsibility. Regardless they took the initiative and provided the means to return this unit so that I could purchase another one that did what I expected it to.

Otherwise I would have been left with a product that I regretted purchasing.

Long story:
I bought this unit after some research and thought it had all the features I wanted. I found out later that there was some misleading information on the Manufactures website. After more than a month of emails with the Manufacturer I was told that only another bot with a different number 600 had what I wanted. 

I informed the Manufacturer about the misinformation and that I wanted to switch to the unit that did what I wanted. (Vacuum and mop in back and forth pattern)

By this time it was well past the 30 day period for returning with paid shipping.

The rest is written already, for whatever reason, the seller BuySPRY decided to provide everything necessary to return this unit. To me as a consumer it made a world of difference. 

I found another unit that does what I wanted it to do in the first place.

If there is anything else I could do to show appreciation to the seller I would be happy to do so. Recommended seller and will purchase from again.

As for the bot it mops back and forth fairly well. The vacuums mode is random by default. A really useless mode in my home. I only need back and forth and edge.

I replaced with the U2.

I mostly bought this Ecovac Deebot 661 to clean under the bed.  We now have tile floors in the master bedroom.  I block off the Deebot 661 to just do the master bedroom while I'm in the Master Bathroom getting ready.  I just let it run and do it's job. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

PICKS UP A LOT OF DUST

It is okay, has a tendency to go in circles a lot and go to the same places over and over, it does pick up dirt and dust, I would say it's okay as an additional cleaner but you won't be able to get rid of your traditional vacuum and mop just yet, a lot of work still ahead to develop something that will truly do that...

Deebot

It takes a long time to clean the whole place. Glad that the battery is good enough for 40 minutes cleaning at normal power.
There are only 3 cleaning programs to choose from which is so little. And the Ecovac cannot return to the docking for recharge 90% of the time.
The best way to clean is to isolate the area like bedroom by closing the door.

OK, but

Don't waste money

Don't waste your money. I have a Deebot that I've had for 3 or 4 years and I LOVE it. So when I decided to purchase another one for another level and one that mops I didn't look at any other brand. Big mistake. This one gets stuck in almost open spaces.  It rarely finds its charger without assistance. As for the mopping function, it's useless because it doesn't go anywhere.
