This tore my heart and put it back together in one full story. It's angsty and that angst helped me through my own hard time while reading. It had me crying for Talia and Foster and then smiling and swooning.

Wow! Just…wow!!! In the past, I’ve been concerned that I would dislike a book by Ms. Perry because of the trope or the blurb. And I’ve always been blown away by how much she could make me fall in love with something I never believed I would. Garnet Flats takes first place. I mean, really. The blurb just screamed at me to stay away and oh my gawd it was hard to crack it open. But by all that is holy in Romancelandia she won my heart again! This was filled with emotions, angst and sizzling heat.
