This opposites attract love story was a tumultuous ride. I loved the story and the characters but would have preferred a more detailed proofreading as the character names got mixed in a few instances and there were some other issues as well.

But the love story between a sex worker and a school teacher was lovely.

This story takes a club stripper and a middle school teacher and watch their worlds collide. When Emma finds herself in a strip club for her sister’s bachelorette party, she is obviously bored. Her sister begs her to be open and take what comes. Wanting her to have fun after the death of her wife two years ago but obviously not over. Begging her to at least stay for the final pole dance. Emma sits and when the dancer, Nicole comes out and performs she is memorized. Not only is this woman beautiful but she is sexy and Has a bod to die for. After the unforgettable performance is done she and many others are awestruck but she is still ready to call it night. But when she turns to leave, Nicole is standing right in front of her, asking Where she was going? Then she takes Emma’s hand to a private room to give her her own lap dance. What happens it two people suddenly shaken by what they were feeling. This was written so well and composed to keep us reading until the conclusion.

There is just truly a 0% chance a sapphic person wrote this book. The steamy scenes are written with metaphors to MEN and also involve violent hip slamming as well as “mushing” g-tals together which magically works???

Also wild ride writing a book about a s*x worker just so you can shame them the entire damn book. A shame to see a book about women loving women while shaming them for making a living.

This wasn’t even to mention all the horrid typos/writing errors as well as inconsistent character details. (One MC daughter was 9 then magically 12 like 4 pages later and another MC marries Danielle AND Daniella lol)

After ‘Fated to Love You’ which was a brilliant book, this is lukewarm. The biggest problem here is the lack of good editing, the many mistakes in continuity, names and constant reuse of phrases. For example, the age of Susie, Nicole’s daughter, changes in different parts of the book, Scarlett’s wife changes name, Emma’s father coincidentally shares the same unusual name with Danielle’s father…
The story idea is really good, if rather over-done, making it long and drawn out without any significant progress in some places. The links to Bella from ‘Fated to Love You’ is good, and the sections with Bella and Ava are some of the best in the book.
Overall, with some significant editing could be a very good book.

I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I couldn't even finish this book (Got about 75% through). The characters and dialogue just didn't feel realistic. I couldn't seem to connect with the story at all. I've liked another book by this author but I can't rate this one I'm afraid.
