Actually very nice!

These surprised me by their quality; sound and build. They definitely have a clearer sound when the noise canceling was on than when off. The deep bass notes come through without sacrificing the mids & highs. With the N/C off the sound is a bit muffled. One star shy of 5 because of the range. Signal does not reach very far or through multiple walls. I think Behringer should improve this. Even if it means going up in price. Maybe they already have for the next generation of this otherwise quality set of headphones. Still, I would buy again. The muffs are extremely comfortable for long wear and listening while resting on a pillow. I've been wearing them for hours! These are for listening to recorded music not for mixing. I could go on but I've got work to get done.

Great quality

These are worth more than they cost. Great build quality. These have been updated from the ones I bought several years ago, (old ones still work great). If you're on the fence about Behringer quality vs other brands (like Makie) don't hesitate to go with Behringer. They are actually better and usually cheaper than most other brands. These sound good, have good battery life and the ear cups/pads are soft and comfortable.

Behringer BH470NC Blue tooth headset

Pretty comfortable--doesn't pinch the ear in at least an hour's wearing, Picks up treble as well as that teen ager thing of boom boom, and gets most everything in the middle. Carries well beyond 30' and does decent around a few corners. Too early to tell headset's lifespan, but I have high hopes. Previous Behringeriger headsets have lasted years.

Great Value

Starting off the review with the highest praise for Sweetwater's service. It remains second to none with quick turn around and shipping plus always appreciate the contact from Alden letting me know my order was received and will be on it's way soon. Now on to the product.

I'd been on the hunt for some affordable decent quality noise cancelling headphones and was more than intrigued when these popped up on sale. It's curious that there isn't much out there on this headset considering it's level of quality and lower price point compared to other decent active noise cancelling headphones.

They're very comfortable. I've worn them while working for hours and there's no discomfort whatsoever. The travel case is a massive plus for me as I bring them to the office with me everyday. The battery life is beyond impressive. Can use them pretty heavily for an entire week without plugging them in.

The active noise cancelling is awesome. It's a technology that I love because it's relatively simple but extremely effective. Removes mostly all "drone" like background noise (AC/Road Sound/Coffee Shop). Talking definitely gets through a bit but once music is also playing you really won't notice it much. It basically feels like a highpass filter gets turned on for the world. One thing to note is that there is a noticeable static when the ANC is activated. The thing I can best compare it to is Vinyl static. It's not a terribly unpleasant sound and will blend in with most music (especially lofi hip hop and anything recorded from Vinyl...) but it's definitely there. I'm pretty sensitive to unwanted sounds and it's not a deal breaker for me.

As for the sound quality it's the one place that will give the "get what you pay for" vibe. At $60 even without ANC and wireless you won't get high quality drivers. These headphones are pretty bass heavy and the high mids to highs are nothing to write home about. However, they aren't offensively bad and will sound ok for most styles of music. But I really think it should be expected that these are not going to be something to truly dive into deep listening with. I've got other headphones for that.

Overall, these are an amazing value and you'd struggle to find this level of comfort, extras, wireless (or wired which is awesome), sound quality and active noise cancelling for this price.

Bought 2 pairs

I originally bought a pair to use with my new Mac as my old computer stereo didn't work well with it. Since they're made for gaming, low latency and good frequency response,they're perfect for my needs ( listening to music). The only downside is they have a short range,and they cut out when walking outside the room. My wife wanted to listen to her movies and shows on the main front room system without the stereo speakers on,so I put a Bluetooth transmitter on the headphone jack,disabled the speakers, and had her test it with her very cheap Bluetooth headphones. She didn't like it,so I let her try mine. She likes them so much that I gave them to her and just bought another pair for me. For the price point,they're very good. They stay charged longer than the new ones,and if you don't use the noise canceling they stay charged even longer.
I highly recommend them!
