IMO...the current product being sold has a design flaw that is making it impossible for you to remove the right blade. I just purchased one and had to return it because I could not remove the right blade.
And it wasn't just that unit...
I just got the replacement unit...and it has the same exact issue
The issue is that no amount of pushing the right button would allow it to come out. This is a potentially very very dangerous situation.
Trying to grab the EXTREMELY sharp blade while trying to force it out is very likely to severely cut you if your hand slips
Do not try to force it out...just return it and contact Rapala customer service and let them know.

Follow up: 2020 : Myself and my friends use this knife almost on a daily bases. It still does an excellent job. Yes I have replaced it , but only after thousands of fish. I see others have had some problems, but for me it has held up and performed excellent.
The only negative is the blades on mine are way too difficult to pull out so I use an oversized fork to remove them. I capture the two blades between the tines of an over sized fork at the blade position just where the blades exit the hand piece. Then press the blade release and pry up on the blade removal holds, that are fixed to each blade, while keeping the fork against the body of the hand piece. They easily come out.
