I'm a first time mom and let me tell you - when you have a fussy baby at home, ANYTHING you can do to cut down on time, effort and waste is greatly appreciated. I'm not huge on disposable paper products but I still wash all my dishes by hand and that includes bottles twice a day. If I can cut down on the amount of dishes I'm washing, I'm all for it. In addition, I use these at night when we want to eat but need something that is quiet and disposable so we don't wake the baby after she is asleep. We just pile the food on, (they are strong enough to handle large amounts of food) and then afterward, in the garage without a peep. It helps when you live in a small home! As a side note, they are easy if you're traveling. I send my husband to work with cakes to share with his coworkers and I always include these along with utensils. They are convenient, sturdy and good value.

I love that the kids can grab a Dixie paper plate for their snacks or after school sandwiches so that I don’t end up with a sink full of dishes to do before dinner is ready. They are thick and hold up well even when microwaved. They do not feel flimsy like some of the cheaper paper plates. I keep a pack of these at all times just for the convenience factor. These are not as large as a standard sized dinner plate- more like salad plate sized which is fine for our needs. Shipping was fast and they arrived perfectly with no damage. I will keep ordering this brand in the future because of their durability and the fact that the price is good.
