Its also quieter than I expected. I had one of the oilless "ultra quiet" compressors, and this one is just a little louder.
I don't use it that much. A brad nailer once in a while I bought it just for painting mostly. It keeps up with a 10cfm gun just fine.
Made in the USA and seems to be built very well. Has a quality motor with thermal protection.
I tried the cheap compressor route and they don't last for long and couldn't keep up anyway. This one does and isn't smoking hot doing so.
Update, I talked to my sales rep at Northern tool and supply again so he contacted Quincy finally after weeks they got back to him and asked for my number, so I got a call today 12/3/13!!! now there saying that we didn’t service the unit properly and there not going to warranty it. This just seems like there trying to find any excuse not to warranty there product. If you look at the warranty it sure sounds good but beware. I’m not sure if it’s a defect or what has happened but I gone through our maintenance schedule with their technician and there service manager and now it seems to just be another excuse why there not going to cover their product. So it’s needless to say I would not recommend this product.
Frustrated, Brian C
