What a gem of a place! The locals are friendly and very knowledgeable. The scenery is abundant. There is good street food, but also fabulous cuisine at the wineries. There is places to be one with nature, but also others great for socializing. The main wine route is all rounded, and though you might have to deal with a few dirt roads you can take your time figuring out the area. Best of all the value of everything exceeded expectations! Only thing to note is that it gets very cold in winter and extremely hot in the summer, since it is a valley and surrounded by mountains.

Valle de Guadalupe is an up and coming wine region with so many unique wines and varietals. World-class farm to table food from high-end Mexican chefs and the most beautiful, modern architecture: minimalist and unique. The region is like a mix of Malibu and Joshua Tree with so many interesting dome structures. Just go!

For being the premier wine region of Mexico, Valle Guadalupe...
For being the premier wine region of Mexico, Valle Guadalupe was uncrowded, off the beaten path and felt like a local's destination more than a tourist destination. It certainly pays to seek out the lesser known wineries and restaurants that you can happen upon some of the best versions of what the valley has to offer. Beware of the "top 10 lists..." Too well known means overpriced and often underwhelming.
Some hits for us (other than the gorgeous, tranquil Terra de Valle and Don Nacho's amazing hospitality) were Shedeh for both food and wine - absolutely exquisite, and Dona Esthela's breakfast. Barron Balche and Hilo Negro had amazing red wines, Vinos de Garza had arguably the best views in the valley and Bloodlust was just the night time vibe we were looking for.
This is a true hidden gem for anyone in the area, even for a day trip from the coast. 5 days would be plenty.

Host was very accommodating and met us outside right away.
Host was very accommodating and met us outside right away. I liked that she texted us prior to arrival with instructions on how to get to property. Our cabana was quiet and scenic with a great view of the vineyard; location was right next to the pool. There is a restaurant right next door and an ATV tour location close by as well, which made our stay here very convenient. Cleanliness of the cabana was very satisfactory. No tv in our room, so make sure you have a good book to entertain yourself. Overall, we were pleased and loved our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The minimalistic architecture is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and fully equipped. My favorite part was the heated floors. We travelled to relax and recharge and Santulan had the perfect setting from a home-cooked breakfast in the morning, to the yoga classes and the unique meditation dome.
Conveniently located in the heart of Valle and close to all the great restaurants and wineries.
The staff are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. Can't wait to go back!
Breakfast was excellent as was the service. The location is beautiful and was very pleasant even in the summer heat. The quality of the rooms and the dining area was above and beyond expectations. Theresa's advice on restaurants and wineries was spot-on and helped us enjoy our first time staying in the Valle de Guadalupe. Quinta Maria was exactly the peaceful and quiet bed and breakfast we were hoping to find. We will definitely go back if we get the chance.
*Great location, quick drive to wineries & restaurants
*Delicious breakfast included - featuring chilaquiles, french toast, fried eggs, etc.
*Quiet and charming, with comfortable beds and solid AC with an adorable patio
*Communal dining area + hammock area were beautiful
*The cutest, friendliest dogs!
I read previous reviews about the roads - it's about a 5 minute drive on a non-paved road, but I had no problem driving there with my VW Golf.
I really liked Siempre Valle. The rooms are big and comfortable, they have a little balcony with a fire pit and a nice view, and they offer water, coffee, and a bottle of wine as a courtesy. They also have a mini fridge with drinks and snacks you can buy. The hotel’s pool is nice and my favorite part was the fire pit they have outside where you can have a glass of wine and chill. Mario, who is in charge of the hotel was very kind and helpful to us.
The property is located near several wineries. Beautiful property; staff were attentive and courteous. We arrived an hour early and accommodated an early check-in. Bed was comfortable. The restaurant on the property, Fuego was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our stay was for only one night and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to eat there, but enjoyed a glass of wine and the nice ambiance. Many amenities to enjoy.
The hotel was perfect. The room was well designed, clean, and comfortable, with a huge, comfy bed and a nice bathroom. The surroundings were beautiful, and the breakfast was a highlight. We also really liked the staff who made an effort to make us feel welcome and to help with everything we asked for.
This Tuscan Hacienda property is beautifully located in Baja California’s wine country and is beautifully managed by Ruth and Henry. nicely appointed, very quiet, and surrounded by peaceful vineyards. And they make a good bottle of wine too!
Super cozy hotel, José, Alonso, Karla, and their whole family are very nice and hospitable. Alonso also happens to be a great cook!
The hotel has a lot of character and it’s gorgeous. They treated us like family, definitely recommend :)
Property is beautiful and quiet while at the same time being close to key spots in Valle de Guadalupe. Bring family-owned and operated, everything felt personal and the staff are great. The breakfasts are delicious. Also loved the towels.
What a delightful little treehouse in Valle de Guadalupe! The staff were friendly and chill, they were very kind to our dog. Boskenvid is well located, only a quick drive to some lovely restaurants and wineries. Breakfast was delicious!
Nice property, spacious 1 br for a couple, could probably fit 4 with the sofa bed (it’s 2 stacked rollout type beds). Small fire pit on the balcony. There is a pool and jacuzzi near the room. Near some good restaurants and vineyards.
Absolutely outstanding hotel - beautiful villas in a very peaceful setting, 15-20 mins away from all major wineries, incredible food and amazing staff. Doesn’t get much better than this.
Hosts were friendly helpful and very hospitable. You can communicate in Spanish English and German.
Close to most wineries and Restaurants , Short Drive to Ensenada
The location is great right by the main vineyards. Breakfast is delicious (although main dishes come with an extra cost). The main areas of the hotel are very pleasant
Great location in the Valle de Guadalupe, close to several wineries and restaurants. Attentive staff and nice small pool, great to cool off after a hot day.
