Just open the collet and slip in almost any brand or style of jigsaw blade…T-Shank, U-Shank or Universal Shank, they all fit. Tighten the collet just like you would on a precision hobby knife and you’re ready to go. The variety of blades available for jigsaws makes the Blue Spruce Jigsaw Blade Handle extremely versatile. Need to finish off a curved cut? Pop in a tiny scrolling blade. Finishing a rafter seat? Mount a longer general-purpose blade. Flush cutting a dowel? Put in a fine-cutting blade and get to it.  

Perhaps the most poorly named tool in the box is a “keyhole saw”. The huge taper on most of the blades prevents any sort of curve cutting or close quarters work. But with the Jigsaw Blade Handle you can work with tiny blades to finish curved cuts and small openings…in any material you can cut with a powered jigsaw.
