About this movie

In the late 80's and early 90's North America's favorite pastime was collecting baseball cards. Stu Stone spent his childhood collecting with his father, Jack, who worked in the card business. 25 years later, Stu explores how the hobby crumbled after a scandal rocked the industry and why his beloved baseball cards are worth nothing more than the memories they hold of a happy childhood.

Just not what I expected it to be. Horrible actually. You think your gonna learn about baseball cards and its more about this dudes family drama. I love documentarys and this is the first one I almost had to turn off becuase it was so bad. Its so messed up as you feel duped after watching it. Yes it does mention baseball card history but its no where near close to what the film centers on. If you want real baseball card history there is better ones done on youtube then this garbage of a film.

An era forgotten by some but adored and relived endlessly by others. Jack of All Trades brings you back to your childhood and the memory of breaking open a fresh pack of cards. The equivalent to modern-day kids' obsession with blind boxes. This is the ultimate blind box journey...Before unboxing videos.

I really liked this. It's one of those movies where you THINK you know where it's going, and it totally flips the script on you. It almost plays out like a detective mystery, as well as gives incredible analysis and insight into the world of the Baseball/sport collectable card industry. And it's got Jose Canseco lol. Highly recommend.
