Easy as heck to put together.

Easy as heck to put together.
I just received my Quictent 24x24x55 grow tent today and I decided to assemble it. Couldn’t be more easy. I’m sure the tent will be just fine and do what it’s supposed to do. To house plants. What I don’t like: Now it was nice of them to throw in a roll of tape. You are going to need a ton more. The zipper leaks completely all the way around. They should have either made the flaps on the inside larger so they can overlap better or put a flap around the zipper on the outside. I am fully aware Velcro isn’t exactly air tight. But the light leaks pretty bad. As this will be my first grow tent. I’ll see how it goes. Maybe things will be loosen up a bit as the material becomes less stiff.

So there was a snafu with my order. I was in a bind and a little miffed. The seller made it right and I have had some time to try the tent. I own 2 others. The price to quality ratings for me is outstanding. It is thicker, sturdier, and less "leaky", actually no leaks vs than my other mid priced tents. Zippers feel more solid in the comparison and the little tool pouches (which I did not know it has) are adjustable position wise so no more seen in puch irritation. Perfect tent for veging plants, love the top vent opening, I judge tents on having them now. The movable dual roof beams are also *extremely* convenient vs a single bar. When I look to upgrade my larger tents I'll start with this seller.

I needed to downsize my grow and this works well as it takes up an unused corner of the living room. It is tall which turns out to be great as these plants are taller than me now; last lot didn't get this big. (must be my new nutrients)

I picked up two spider farm LED panels and with extreme care I was able to get both, they over lap in the center, lights into this and my air movers. I currently have four very large plants in it, 6 are waiting in my 'nursery' but in the future I think the max will be three.

It is a good tent. The junctions for air equipment are numerous, you can put it up against a wall or even in a corner - I have my exhaust going out on the same side as my inbound air and the other corner is up against the wall so it is tucked nicely out of the way. The door is a good generous size and opens and ties back easily. I love the extra layers of plastic around the zipper, this is my second tent and way better quality.

My one piece of advice: splurge on the quality of the tent. you will be opening this at a minimum once a day, sometimes more than that. It makes sense to up your purchase for anything that will be functional on a daily basis; wear and tear. Originally I had a huge 4x9 tent. It was so big it took up the entire screened porch and it wasn't as heavy duty as I was afraid it would age quickly. A bigger tent is also harder to keep cool, this one stays in the mid 80's during the day and 70's at night. The bigger tent was pushing 100!

If you can, get the smaller tent, but not too short - if this was shorter my bulbs would be directly on top of my plants - and maximize the space. Too large becomes a problem.

Silly thing, but I really love the color trim on this tent. So many are blue, this one is green and a color I enjoy .

Good Luck!

Pros:
- This tent is tall... really tall, and is fantastic if you plan on growing plants that get particularly tall. Currently with this tent I can grow anything up to about 4 to 5 feet.
- I inspected mine pretty thoroughly and see almost no light leaks, around the zipper in a few select spots I noticed some tiny pinholes. Adjusting the zipper seemed to take care of this, so it may have been simply how the mylar in the inside was laying over the zipper.
- Way cheaper than every alternative available outside of incredibly cheap chinese tents; which you may be taking a big gamble as they can be loaded with light leaks.

Cons:
- This thing is a pain to put together, but only slightly more so than nearly every other tent on the market. The directions are incredibly vague, and while they do have instructions, it's a simple diagram. On top of all of that, some of the poles weren't marked with letters, this lead to me breaking out a tape measure. I did this solo and I highly recommend having help.
- It feels slightly wobbly, and while I don't feel it's going to come crashing down; I wouldn't put a ton of weight on the frame towards the top. Since this tent is so tall placing a carbon filter, fan, and several lights on the top of this feels kinda sketchy. I personally decided to place my carbon filter outside of the tent next to it, rather than hang it. It feels fairly solid with just the lights, but once you add that heavy filter onto it, the whole tent begins to feel top heavy. I can't knock on the product too much for this, since it dimensions would inherently do this due to it being so tall and thin.

Overall:
I would say this is a good tent with some slight downsides. If you're looking for something that has a smaller footprint (2x4) but much taller than most other tents, I would definitely recommend this one.
