I have always LOVED Speck cases. They’re exactly what I want in look, feel, slim design, high quality, and durable. They hold up well over time, always look new, and protect my phone from multiple drops. I take excellent care of my phones and have never broken one, I’m just clumsy.So I had high hopes ordering my first clear case from Speck for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I guess there’s a first time for everything, because this case is a big letdown. The design and protection are like what I know and expect from the Speck brand, but as of the time I am writing this, it has been 2 weeks + 1 day since I bought this case brand new, and it is already yellowing - it almost looks orange when it’s on my phone (I have the dark purple one). I am not a smoker, haven’t used chemicals on the case, or anything that would cause it to yellow quickly - just normal use.I gave this case 3 stars because it does about half of what it claimed - it DOES protect well, but it is supposed to be anti-yellow, and that fell way short.I realize it’s hard to find a clear case that doesn’t eventually yellow, but I used a Tech21 Evoclear case on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and it was almost a year before it started looking a little dingy on the edges, but it never looked like this even the day I upgraded and stopped using it.Big disappointment, Speck.

Case seems to be well-made. The lip around the frame and camera is high enough to protect the phone and the ombre design is beautiful for sure. My only quip was this was supposed to be like-new from Warehouse Deals but it's definitely not. It had no original box and was absolutely covered in scratches, very visible ones so whoever graded this needs to be fired. I have no idea where the huge rectangular scratch came from (looks like food/drink remnants but it isn't).
