Experience With Many Eurorack Cases - This Is My Favorite

I used "favorite" instead of "best" because people have different needs and budgets. The Intellijel cases ooze quality. I've found the power to be sufficient. Initially I was concerned about running out of headers on the sole bus board but I still have open ones on both of my Intellijel 104 cases.

The case joining system is simple and elegant. I have 2 104s joined and sitting happily on the 2nd tier of my keyboard stand. (If I ever redo the module layout I would consider putting the 1u row on the bottom of the upper case to avoid power and I/O coming out the top.)

I have the Stereo Audio Out 1u that hooks up to the outputs on the back of the case. I have not experienced any issues with unwanted noise on the audio outputs.

I love fixed rails over sliding nuts any day.

The expansive cover allows for carting around significant spaghetti.

I am down-rating it 1/2 star because IMO, audio and MIDI could have been built in. It would add to the price but eliminate the need for separate 1u modules.

Those loving robots at Intellijel in BC Canada have done a great job here. I would -and may - buy this product again.

Good case... be careful about module power requirements!

I own two of these, bought from Sweetwater. Excellent customer service BTW.

The cases look great, and have a bunch of nifty features like pull-out legs to angle your modular.

Everything works as advertised, and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

The only downsides I can think of are:

1. The cases are thin and not as sturdy as I'd like them to be. There is a good amount of flex to them. They aren't flimsy in any way, but definitely could be better.

2. I wish these cases had better power specs. If you plan on using a bunch of digital or power hungry modules, double check to make sure you don't run into issues. One of my cases is only half full, and is already maxed out on power.

3. The rails are not threaded well. Be gentle when installing modules so you don't strip anything.
