This 9th installment deals with a very tough subject and serious issues. A tense, fast paced thriller/romance in an all too real setting of violence. The details in this book are so vivid that you feel like one of the eyewitnesses. Sometimes it was a hard read due to the subject matter. Fortunately, it's not just drama but also the start of a beautiful young love. I loved how the kids grew up to be beautiful young adults. Like all the other books in this series, it is well written and the author draws you in to the plot. I can highly recommend the Commitment series.
