Publisher Description
After she walks in on her mom doing the horizontal mambo with a man that's decidedly not her dad, Brynn Stark swears to NEVER fall in love. One of her friends--Val-- reveals her true identity--Aphrodite, goddess of love, and promises to show Brynn why she shouldn't lose faith.
But when Brynn realizes she's beginning to fall for Adam, Aphrodite's boyfriend, Brynn's forced to decide if she'll choose her goddess-given fate, or risk it all for the wrong-but-right guy.
One thing's for sure. Love sucks. And it's all about to blow up in their faces.

High School Greek mythology
New to me author. This book was something that I normally wouldn’t read. It’s considered a YA urban fantasy with Greek mythology and a little romance.
Never Say Never is about a high school girl named Brynn who says she isn’t looking for love and doesn’t want to fall in love. Love hurts. There’s nothing magic about it. Her parents should just get a divorce but they are staying together for her. Things change though when she catches her mom having an affair.
Also turns out that her best friends foster sister is actually Aphrodite the goddess of love. She’s been trying to set Brynn up and make her see that love is magical.
I felt that this was slow at times and then other times it picked up and exciting things happened. I did enjoy this book and was able to read it quickly. Some of these characters are relatable with realistic problems.
