About this ebook

From enemies to alliesā€¦

When archaeologist Isabel Dawson stumbles upon an unconscious man deep in the Alaskan wilderness, her survival skills are put to the test. She tends his wounds and drags him to shelter, only to discover sheā€™s saved the life of Raptor CEO Alec Ravissantā€”the man who may have covered up her brotherā€™s murder to save his senatorial campaign.

With no memory of the assault that landed him five miles deep in the forest, Alec doesnā€™t know what to believe when he wakes in the clutches of the beautiful redhead who blames him for her brotherā€™s death, but he quickly realizes he needs her help to uncover the truth about his lost hours.

Isabel never imagined sheā€™d find herself allied with Alec, and heā€™s the last man she ever expected to find attractive. But the former Army Ranger-turned-politician proves seductively charming, and heā€™s determined to win much more than her vote. When their quest for answers puts Isabel in the crosshairs, Alec must risk everythingā€”his company, his campaign, and his lifeā€”to protect her.

Incriminating Evidence is a outstanding romantic suspense by Rachel Grant. Ms. Grant has given readers a book that is well-written and will hold the attention...so much that you may miss the timer going off on the stove. Isabel is determined to find out who is responsible for her brother's death and everyone at Raptor could be involved. Alec doesn't know what happened to him when he wakes up in a cabin with a woman he doesn't know. Alec and Isabel's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle,

Wow! Loved this romantic thriller! After reading "Night Owl," this author's entry in the "Danger and Desire" anthology, I was intrigued enough to want to read Incriminating Evidence, which "Night Owl" serves as a prequel to. First of all, I was stunned to find out that this novel was written a full five years earlier! The novella in the anthology fit in so well, I thought they had to have been written at the same time. Kudos to the author for pulling off such a seamless transition! I met Isabel in "Night Owl" as she was beginning to investigate her brother's death at the Raptor compound, and this book starts a few months later when Isabel runs into Raptor's boss, Alec, right after he was left for dead in the Alaskan wilderness. What follows is a fascinating investigation, filled with shocking twists and surprising suspects. It's clear that this book was meticulously researched, and I appreciated the clear attention to detail. The romance between Iz and Alec was exquisitely paced, with loads of instant steam balanced with appropriate restraint due to the circumstances and ever-changing levels of trust between the two. It was one of the best romances I've read in a long time, and set in the midst of such a nail-biting investigation made it all the more intense. This was a brilliant read, and I'm adding more books in this series to my TBR list.

Convinced her brother was murdered Isabel spend 10 months in Alaska seeking the people responsible and justice. Alec, CEO of Raptor, is the focus of her ire. She wants answers, not a cover-up. Good read with surprising twist.
