Compared to another phone holder this one is of similar outside construction and quality. The other RockB brand did have some interior divider sections which was nice but maybe not worth the extra cost. This holder was lower cost and does the job.

This is a great accessory to have especially on long bike rides. The bag is made with a very sturdy and durable material and mounts easily and securely to the handlebar and rests on the stem and frame of the bike. The bag has a very clever design, intended to be multifunctional—my iPhone slides into a display pocket in the front of the case where my screen can be easily seen through a clear, soft plastic touch sensitive window, which makes it possible to be able to access or use the phone at any time on my trek. Behind the cell phone pocket is another compartment to use to put smaller items in that you want to carry with you. The whole bag zips on each side to lock in the contents safely, and is also waterproof so whatever is inside it is protected from getting wet. I like that it packs in a lot of things I want to bring with me on a ride by using the space efficiently, remaining very lightweight and not bulky, so it doesn’t affect steering or balance while cycling, and compact enough to not block my vision of the road beneath me. I love using this to be able to monitor at a glance if any calls are coming in without having to stop to check!

I've had this mount for a few months now, and it's been very helpful for me in biking around a city I don't know too well yet. Much better than trying to find my way by hearing directions only, or having to pause and pull my phone out every once in a while to see the map. And yes, I HAVE used it in rain! I have an iphone SE (much smaller than typical smart phones these days), so I was worried that it would be too small to fit snugly, but the adjustable Velcro means it isn't a problem! My only small issues with it are an echo of below comments - that it tilts downward with my hybrid bike's handlebars, and that it's a bit annoying to connect my wired earbuds to my phone through the case, (though, I guess this is a feature of the water resistance). Still, overall, I am definitely satisfied with this purchase.

I have a Galaxy Note 8 with the Otter Box Defender Series Screenless Edition Case and it fits easily. Bought this for the wife and her Note 8 has a smaller case so it works great. Her phone is very secure with the velcro padded holder. The water proof zipper is very sturdy. Ample storage for small items. There are three velcro straps, 2 for the handle bars and 1 to secure to the goose neck. Hope this helps others.

If you're looking for a front bike bag with a touchscreen for your phone that can be used while riding your bike - this IS NOT it! Really disappointed. Should have listened to other reviewers. You can definitely see your phone through the plastic screen but you just can't operate it through the "touchscreen." Nonetheless, if you're looking for a front bike bag that has great storage space for your phone, keys, and other small items, this IS it! It mounts best to a bike with long handle bar stems. It can still be used with shorter stems; however, the bag will be oriented down toward the ground versus facing upward toward the sky for a better view of your phone. The bag itself is made of a thick plastic; not sure about the waterproofing, though.

I got this mainly to carry some small essentials for a marathon, as I was mobile aid support. This bag held up to the various terrain that we encountered (grass, dirt, gravel, asphalt, curbs, broken roads) and did not shift or fall off. Installation is super easy and doesn't get in the way of anything. The only thing to mention is that it might be more difficult for someone with longer legs, so I can only attest on behalf of us petite people. My knees did brush it once or twice when I stood up to power up some hills, but it wasn't anything distracting or dangerous. As previous reviews said, your phone can overheat if you are using it while it's in the front pocket (I tested it out with playing some music for a ten mile ride--my phone was like a hot potato when I took it out). As long as you're not super reliant on your phone, it should be fine. It might be problematic if you are using navigation, but if you just want something to hold your phone and alert you of notifications, then this might be a good option for you. I didn't try the touch screen capability, so you'll have to rely on other reviews.
