This is my new standard for steamy, HEA novellas. I love that Leo & Cami did not have some unrealistic insta-love, but rather found themselves meeting again by chance, and seeing where feelings took them. The story did not feel rushed, like some novellas do.
As always, Ofelia dished up wonderful characters, that fit so well into the world she already created, and added the heat she gives readers in her rockstar romance.

Every time I read some of the ‘dichos’, is it Wife Old Tales in English? 🤔…. Anyways, I was smiling while reading at them because Lord knows how many times I heard the exact same ‘dichos’ while growing up! 😁 Which I now say them to my kiddos!! 🤣🤣

Absolutely loved this short story by Ofelia Martinez. Leo and Cami were so cute and loved their chemistry. This quick, second chance, brother’s best friend, forbidden romance is spicy, sweet and charming. Ofelia delivers the same heartwarming, beautiful story and makes you fall in love with the Heartland Metro Hospital world all over again. Definitely recommend.

Finding His Way Home to Her Heart by Heather Scarlett 5 stars
Alex is coming home from war to see that his job, his house, and even his bed belong to another person.
Sam needed a job and a place to live, and she has been happy for a year until his boss arrived threatening her stability.
A very emotional story. I just love when I see the feelings between the characters on their faces, in the way they touch comforting each other and when with just one look they know what they are thinking or what they mean.
Falling for the Firefighter by Tracy Krimmer 4 stars
Blaise is a firefighter who is very popular among the nurses at the hospital, and he flirts with all of them or so everybody thinks.
Alaina is an ER nurse who works hard. She meets Blaise when she had a problem with a monoxide detector one night.
Alaina has problems trusting men due to a previous experience and it is very difficult for her to trust Blaise.
I liked this book. It was entertaining and quick to read.

In this Novella we meet Camila is a doctor working in the ER and Leo, a paramedic who happened to grow up together. Leo was her big brother‘s best friend who she fell in love with. He went to join the service and left without a word despite the fact that they both shared a kiss before he left. They are both home now and she sees him one night while working in Sparks fly, and they realize they still have feelings for each other.
Ofelia did not disappoint in this story. I highly recommend it.

If you’re looking for a heartfelt, quick read that will make you swoon look no further. Reid is seriously the sweetest guy, like a total heartthrob that made my heart flutter and gave me all the heart eyes. I loved how independent Daisy is and how she was willing to come out of her shell for her own happiness.
After that ending I can’t wait for more.

I read Medic by D Lilac. This book was swoony and steamy my perfect blend of delicious. The H is growly and set in his ways but he is no match for the h's charms.
Army Medic Tank Savage returns home and can't sit still. His life has been dedicated to helping others so he joins the fire department as a medic. Marley, a local teacher with big dreams, is someone that could definitely shake up his boredom, but he isn't sure he's a forever kind of guy. Marley takes him by surprise and makes him want more.
My kryptonite is a big burly soldier who knows what he wants. I love a curvy h that stands on her own two feet and stands up for herself. There are lots of good side characters and love Tanks niece, Peach. So cute.

I did only receive Medic as an Arc. But this story doesn’t disappoint. The story has age gap and some self growth. It is a short story. It does take place in Dripping Springs! I hope we get more of Marley and Tank in other stories! I don’t want to give anything away!

Hot Cop Test was such a fun book to read. Oh my! It is the prequel to Cop An Attitude. I enjoyed that book also and there is another installment called Cop A Plea in July! I mean who doesn’t like hunky gorgeous men especially men in uniform? They are always perfect to throw in between the more serious books. They always brighten my world for a while after finishing my time with them.
Hilary Grossman writes fun books that deal with serious subjects. Her characters are easy to relate to and bring such a lighthearted joy to my life. I always look forward to her next book.

I just finished Wildflower, Wild Duet Book 1 by DM Davis and wow! Loved it! Reid and Daisy are so sweet together after a year of dancing around their attraction. Once I started reading I didn’t want to put the book down! My only complaint is that I have to wait to find out what happens after the cliffhanger of cliffhangers… with this story alone the price of the anthology is a bargain! Looking forward to reading the other stories included.

Reid has gone into her shop for flowers, but for whom, for the last year. Right from the beginning, you can feel a connection between the two. It seems as they continue hang out, they definitely enjoy each others company. Just when their relationship may be getting deeper, something unexpected happens. But what? Wait til you see! I just wanted to scream and cry. That ending was like what did I just read and I need the next book asap lol 😂. Definitely a page turner!

He is ridiculously protective of Daisy, his Wildflower, and it's everything a girl could ask for. This is book 1 of a duet and does end with a cliffhanger. BUT the 2nd book is coming out soon. Grab your copy today!

Alaska Flame by Lolo Paige
Angela joined the smoke jumpers and while training caught up with Gunnar, one of the instructors. They had met briefly years before.
I loved this. It was dramatic and intense but also really romantic and a little steamy.
I loved Angela as she was a go getter who knew what she wanted and worked to get it which worked for Gunnar.
Their chemistry was simplistic and strong. Which only added to the story. This war a great story and only makes me want to read Heroes with Heart more now. Great book!

I read this in one sitting, no stopping for anything( including my boyfriend and dog...the boyfriend had to walk the furball). It caught me withing the first few pages and didn't let up. The characters are wonderful and easily relatable so you can put yourself in their shoes which makes it way to easy to get lost in the story! I have read a few books by D. I read Medic by D. Lilac
A short steamy older man/younger woman romance. Tank is home after years of serving his country, now about to start his new journey as an EMT. Picking up his niece from preschool is where he meets and is attracted to her young teacher Marley. Love it, especially the as it was put the grand gesture and the epilogue.

Wow what a collection of hot heroes, you will not be able to put down until you have read every single tale. You may even dream about them as they will have a massive affect on you. Just couldn’t put this down

Hot Cop Test was a phenomenal read and a great warm up to Cop a Plea.
When Randi is a teenager she is involved in a shooting at a local mall where she manages to escape unhurt, her boyfriend at the time abandons her, however, she meets a handsome rookie cop, Alex, whose face is one she will never forget. She vows to leave New York and never come back, until she has to. The rookie cop gave her some pretty solid relationship advice in which she called “The Hot Cop Test”.
Told in dual POV’s from Alex and Randi, both equally afraid of getting hurt again, will Alex pass his own test?
I’m definitely looking forward to reading the whole anthology.

These amazing authors have come together to give us a wonderful collection of stories that pull us into the lives of the characters. Each story tugs at our emotions as the characters try to find their true place in life.
Finding His Way Home to Her Heart by Heather Scarlett: The author has given us a heartwarming story that pulls us into the lives of Alex and Samantha and does not let go. When Alex returns to civilian life, he really does not know where he fits in. Sam has taken over the management of his family bar and his room at his mother's house. Alex and Sam each have issues they need to deal with. Will they be able to help each other heal?
