Publisher's summary

I never thought my perp walk would lead to true love.

Then again, I never thought I’d be arrested on RICO charges and hauled away in zip ties on camera for the world to see, minutes after closing the most amazing deal of my career.

And all of it in front of my biggest rival, billionaire wunderkind Ian McCrory.

I am broke.

I am disgraced.

I am alone.

I am a sucker.

But the worst part? I have to go back to my hometown and live in my bedroom filled with relics from my childhood.

Lisa Frank never made me so mad before.

Just when I needed a rescue, I got one - in the form of help from my biggest rival.

He can’t bring back my money.

He certainly can’t bring back my reputation or my pride.

But there’s one thing he can bring back to me.

A sense of hope.

Maybe even love.

Ian sees something in me no one else does, and he’s relentless about making me see it, too. As we grow closer, I’m starting to see that while my entire life used to be a lie, the truth is staring me in the present - and it’s a truth I like very, very much, hot eyes and gorgeous smile and all.

But I have to be careful.

I can’t be too...that’s right...hasty.

The final book in the USA Today best-selling Do-Over Series (Fluffy, Perky, Feisty), as Mallory's sister, Hastings "Hasty" Monahan gets her turn at a happily ever after that starts off with an arrest.

Hers.

And ends with a surprisingly cheesy happily ever after.

A beautiful journey, with lots of laughs and love

This series is perfect. Each book is steamy AND funny, with very special characters, and a different plot that gives a little depth to the story.

This time, it’s a combination of a financial scandal and a character rediscovering themself. Both develop at the same time, and they both concern Hastings, Mallory’s sister.

I was seriously doubting at first that the author could pull it off. I mean, every time we met Hastings in the previous books, she wasn’t lovable. At all. Could I be interested in her story? Plus, she was married, and though I enjoy domesticity, I doubted this couple would be particularly cute. How wrong I was!

First of all, there’s no cheating, and yet it isn’t the story of Hasty and her husband, but you’ll have to read the book to know why and how. And since Hastings comes back to her hometown to lick her wounds, we see more of all the characters we loved in the previous books. And that’s where she’s going to look into herself and find the girl she’s really meant to be. A beautiful journey, with lots of laughs and love.

As always, the narration was impeccable. Top quality audiobook!

interesting story

The narrator's voice with the complaining and anger at the start of the book put me off and i stopped listening. i fast forwarded to where she gets a grip and continued. The story line was good and the voice for Ian was good. I am glad i came back and finished the book.

Hastings and Ian

Hastings gets served a big vat of humble pie and has to re-evaluate her whole life when she realizes her world was built on the lies of her... fake husband?!?!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd be just as humiliated too.
Hastings' story was probably my favorite because it took a chance with someone who was not well-liked as the heroine and I think pulled it off beautifully. There was a lot of comical moments and interesting banter as well as a progressive plot.
The talented Erin Mallon narrates the entire series and does a great job with bringing to life the comical turmoil that befalls Hastings.

Loved it!

This laugh out loud romcom hits the spot! We’ve seen Hastings in the other books in the series and it was great to see her star in her own book and find her happily ever after.
You could not go with a better narrator for this character. Erin Mallon brings Hastings to life and is such a joy to listen to.

Pissed to no pants in no time flat.

yeah, I can't completely believe that, but otherwise I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I really did not like Hasty in the last few books. In fact, I hated her. I an so happy to see her character development. I grew to love her. I liked Ian, but it was way too creepy his showing up all the time. Too much! Dude, why are you here? She should have questioned that a lot more than she did. I enjoyed how this played out except for the easy forgiveness. The performance was great and I recommend this book.

A funny conclusion to a great series

I am so sad that this series is over because it is adorable and humorous and at some times laugh out loud funny. Hasty is a hated character in previous books. She has an epic fall from grace and has to climb her way out. This story was one of redemption first and romance second. Erin Mallon brings humor and a whole lot of fun to these characters through her narration. I really enjoyed the story and found it a fitting conclusion to a series I definitely recommend.

Humble pie!

After Hasty was such a beyaatch in the earlier books, was looking forward to seeing her get a dose of humility and this was done so well! It was good to get to know her better and to witness her growth journey as it unfolded. As always, Erin Mallon was the perfect narrator! Overall it was worth the wait and a great end to the series!

I love this series!

I seriously love this series! the writing is great and the narration is wonderful. so many times I found myself actually laughing out loud. I was hesitant about this book going in because Hasty was so nasty in the previous books I didn't really have an interest in having a book just on her. But I was ao happy be be wrong. Not only was it a great story but maybe my favorite in this series. I am bummed to be finished but I couldn't stop listening!

Don’t be too Hasty to judge!

When I learned that this series wasn’t going to end with the three and that our fourth book was going to feature the sister that we all see climbing over dead bodies to make a deal I was skeptical. So much so that even though I purchased and downloaded on release day it took me two days to listen. This is out of character for me.
Hastings is that one character that I feel like I’ve seen grow on the page. She grew and changed and came out the other side the same person but a better version of that person. She was brash and rude and driven. Hastings is still driven. She just isn’t as rude as before. That’s a good thing translated onto to page!
The romance is adorable. There’s so much chemistry. There’s so much want and need. They are so much the perfect kind of people that make each other better. I love how much they are compatible and I love that he doesn’t want to change her. He’s not saying stop that! He’s saying “I love you because you are so driven and I want you to be happy. I don’t need anything else.”

Erin Mallon is the voice Goddess that we always hear. Girl gives good voice, y’all.
