Tl;dr: the process took longer than an hour, and it still didn't work because the instructions are poorly written and because the installation videos do not fully explain the small things that could go wrong during installation.

I really wanted to like this product. I read the stellar reviews from Whitestone's products on various websites and watched several YouTube videos before purchasing. I am also pretty tech savvy and good with installations, so I am sure several people will face similar issues as me.

First, the instructions are useless that come in the box. Full of typos and poor directions/ images that instruct you to watch several installation videos before attempting your own install. This took about 20 minutes.

Second, there are speakers on both the top and bottom of the phone, and I had to watch several different installation videos to figure out which side was up and which side was down. Further, neither the instructions nor any installation video instructs the consumer how far down to place the speaker masking tape to protect from a spill. While this may seem stupid, there are serious consequences for your phone because if you place the masking tape down too far, it will get caught in the adhesive under the tempered glass and thus severely impact the placement. This took about 15 minutes.

Third, the label on the tempered glass that says "top side (for front cam)" is either incorrectly labeled or I made a terrible mistake when following the guidelines described in several videos because when I placed the tempered glass on the pin that elevates the glass and then removed the pin to spread the adhesive - and note that at this point there is no way to tell if the glass protector is either the top or bottom because the glass is clear and the plastic container blocks your view - the adhesive spread beautifully across the screen but the protector was on in reverse (backside on front and front on back) . This took about 10 minutes.

Fourth, there were no second chances because the tempered glass was already all covered in the adhesive.

Fifth, I also had to rewatch installation videos throughout all the above steps. This took about 15 minutes.

Whitestone, please make the instructions better. I'm sure the product works great for many people, but the guidelines, as they are now, are far too complex for most consumers.

Well, I may update this because I haven't dropped my phone yet (and I will), but this is what I have so far. It wasn't that easy to install compared to other stick on screen protectors. It doesn't leave fingerprints or smudges and doesn't have much of a glare in the sun. The fingerprint scanner does work. I scanned my print before and after install and the only thing I noticed is I need to press a little harder and a little longer, but it works just fine. I set my touch sensitivity to high and it's light to the touch. It works great with the strong case that I have even in the corners. I was skeptical about the price but so far I'd say I like it. The true test will of course come with a drop. It does have a warranty but that's not going to help if the screen breaks. I'd say go with it if you paid a lot for your phone.

Best glass screen protector for the Note 10

I usually buy the Zagg glass screen protectors (which I feel are the best), but they don't make one for the Note 10. After a lot of trial and error, I decided to try this one (it's roughly the same price as a Zagg). This screen protector looks and feels great! I've been trying multiple, cheaper ones that were ok, but most had the little circle over the sensor, which I hate. It took away from the beauty of the screen and was also tougher to use with the fingerprint sensor. This one works great without that little circle - you barely know it's there.

I STRONGLY recommend that you view the installation video a couple of times before attempting to install. I kept the video open during the process and paused as needed to make sure that I was following the instructions to the letter. After installation, you'll be instructed to reset your fingerprints. So far I'm VERY pleased. I'll see how durable it is over time.

Update: I've had the screen protector for a good bit of time now, and love it even more. I tried to fit my battery case on the phone, and inadvertently separated the top of the protector from the screen. I was hot, but I calmly placed it back in place and patiently pressed out the subsequent air bubbles using a plastic card. The protector fully "healed" and there are no air bubbles left. In addition, I notice that this screen protector has been highly resistant to smudges, whereas I had to wipe off the cheaper ones frequently.

This screen protector was one that I really wanted to try, it had a lot of promises, but some things just didn’t work out. The fingerprint reader didn’t pick up my fingerprint anymore, and I even tried putting my fingerprints in more than once (2 scans for the same finger) to see if that would help. The installation was decent, just a lot of steps to follow and it got somewhat messy. But it lasted me a few months before it really started to scratch and crack with normal use. I personally wouldn’t recommend this.

Product as described works awesome so far I love it i have tried many cheaper tempered glass screen protectors but this is the only one that has not had the very noticable fingerprint scanner dot embedded in it that never seemed to work very well anyways, yet this one didnt even require me to redo the scan. however based on all the installation videos they all said you should recieve 2 liquid adhesive tubes just incase the first application goes wrong, I however only got one so with patience and virtue I was able to apply the protector with ease on the first attempt. I recomend watching the install video and be absolutely certain that the liquid bubble is within the round window on the weight before pulling the pin and it will turn out perfect... after installing this on my phone my girlfriend asked me to order her one for hers... highly recomend this product.

Don't ever buy this product.
Took a while to figure out exactly how to install.
After I installed all was good. Two days later my phone dropped out of my hand , ( when I took phone out of my pocket , so a low fall) it fell on wet snow . The top corner cracked and the screen was letting lose from phone . A couple days later I put my keys on the phone , and again the other side (in middle) cracked . I was going to get it replaced by warranty , but I was asked to pay like 28 dll for shipping. And well I thought mine as well get a difference , longer lasting, screen protector for that price .
PLEASE SAVE YOUR SELF $64 DLL.
