Rate this book
A new brother’s-best-friend stand alone romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…

I was just his best friend’s little sister.

But he was always more than that to me.

After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.

Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.

There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.

So I’m willing to keep our secret...

Because I want him Wright here, right now.

I was determined for him to see me. Not just his best friend’s little sister.

THIS is the Wright book I’ve been waiting for! Not only do I adore Morgan Wright, but come on… I’m such a sucker for brother’s best friend books!

Morgan Wright has it all. She’s on top of her career, she’s got an amazing family and a few close friends. The only thing she’s missing is love. She’s had it bad for her brother’s best friend, Patrick for over a decade, but it’s never been that way for him. At least until now.

Patrick is a bit blindsided when starts developing feelings for Morgan. This can’t be happening. He can’t fall for his best friends little sister. It’s against the code. Not only is Morgan’s brother, Austin his best friend, he’s close with all the Wright brothers. They’re like family to him. But once he and Morgan get closer, he can’t turn off what he’s feeling… it’s okay that they’re together if it’s a secret, right?
Patrick wanted me. My heart fluttered. My stomach catapulted. My mind buzzed. This was real. This moment was real.

Morgan Wright may very well be my favorite Wright sibling. I love that she is fierce, independent, and sassy. She’s hard working, devoted to her job and her family, but also kind and vulnerable. Patrick was pretty fantastic as well. I loved how he stood up for Morgan and once he knew she was the one, he was willing to fight for her.

The more of the ‘Wright’ books I read, the more I fall in love with this family. I’m ecstatic to get a Sutton/David book. I just know it’s going to be incredible and hit me right in the feels! The Wright Secret is a sexy, swoony, and captivating read. I recommend it to all lovers of romance, especially those who love a kick ass heroine and the brother’s best friend troupe!

The Wright Secret is hands down my favorite in this series that isn't a series. It follows Morgan Wright, new CEO of Wright Construction, and her brothers best friend, Patrick. That's right, this is a brothers-best-friend trope. *cue fangirling*

It doesn't happen often that I like the heroine of a novel more than I like the hero, but Morgan stole my heart in this book. I loved how she took her work so seriously and wouldn't let anyone keep her down or make her think she's not being good enough. As much as it sucks, being a woman in such a high position comes with people wanting to make your life ten times harder, but Morgan stood up to all of that and I really admired her.

And Patrick was right there to support her the entire time. Even though he comes second for me I still adored him and thought he and Morgan were perfect together. The forbidden aspect of their relationship in the beginning was my favorite part but I also loved them when they weren't sneaking around. They had an amazing connection that was prevalent from the very beginning and it was great to see how drawn to each other they were. It took Patrick a little longer to realize he didn't look at Morgan like just another sister, but when he did oh man was it hot.

Overall, this book is definitely a recommend. It can be read as a standalone, clearly since the Wright books aren't actually a series, but I think you'll find yourself curious about the other Wright's and the previous books are a big recommendation from me too.

The Wright Secret have the right ingredients for that forbidden romance. It is not angst/ drama plot. Instead Miss Linde makes it light and yet entertaining.

I have confession to make while listening to the audiobook. I fell asleep during the middle of the book because the push and pull between the main characters is..... boring in the middle. I do like the last twist about the office politic at the end. That was nicely done. I also want more protective behavior from Austin.

Overall an OK book and can be executed much better.

Provocative, captivating, and wonderfully romantic!

The Wright Secret is a sultry, beguiling read that mixes the intelligent, hardworking Morgan who finds herself in a sticky situation with not only the man of her dreams but as the new CEO of the family business, and the effortlessly handsome, easy-going Patrick who finally discovers his best friend's sister is more than he ever imagined.

The writing is witty and light. The supporting characters include all the charming and endearing gang we've come to love from the previous stories. And the plot is a wonderful combination of light drama, smoking chemistry, sexy innuendoes, and delicious heat.

As most people know, I'm a huge fan of Linde's stories. And like all of her previous novels I've read, The Wright Secret keeps you engaged, makes you swoon, leaves you wanting more and does an exceptional job of showcasing why Linde is one of the most popular, successful authors of this genre.

***COMING TOMORROW - FULL REVIEW***

4 Mashed Potato CROWNS

I adore the Wright family. The comradery between the siblings is some of my favorite parts of the each book in the series. The Wright Secret, in particular, highlights the support this family has for one another and exhibits all the different forms of love a person needs in his/her life.

Patrick and Morgan are absolutely perfect together. He is laid back attitude and affable nature is the perfect juxtaposition for Morgan. He highlights her best qualities, but also brings her to life, showing her that there is more than work. Plus, the lines KA Linde wrote for this hero are romance magic, guaranteed to make readers swoon. Just as he brings out the softer side of Morgan, readers get to see him become more serious and to take on a new role. Together they learn to balance work and life, and how one can enrich the other, but at the end of the day, it is the relationships that matter most. They are truly the perfect couple for the way they evolve together because of each other.

I really enjoyed The Wright Secret. The characters are lovely and the story is entertaining, but as an avid lover of this series, this one fell a bit flat for more. The sad thing is that I can’t really pinpoint what made it so. The story line is great, it is paced well, and the conflict and resolution, while expected, is perfect for the exposition and rising action developed by the author. It just lacks the angst and turmoil that I have come to expect from this series of standalones, and maybe that is because Morgan is level headed and not overly emotional. So although this wasn’t the type of story that had me glued to my Kindle, it is a story that is beautiful and romantic in its own Wright (see what I did there).

The Wright Secret is another wonderful addition to the series. We get to see the family change and grow. We get to see Morgan come into her own and learn to balance all parts of her life, and this translates easily to real life, this need to work but still live.

“You’ll know when I have all of you, Morgan. You’ll be able to feel it. You’ll be able to taste it. You’ll feel when not just our bodies connect, but our souls. Then, I’ll have all of you and not before then.”

Oh Patrick, how you make me SWOON! If you’re looking for a hero that will bring you to your knees in more ways than one, look no further! THE WRIGHT SECRET gives us the highly anticipated happily ever after between Morgan Wright and Patrick Young. I’ve longed for these two to get together for so long, and it’s finally happening, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! It might be surprising that I only recently discovered K.A. Linde’s work, and from that moment on, I’ve fallen more in love with each new release she puts out into the world. THE WRIGHT SECRET, might just be my favorite of the series! Linde gives us a strong heroine to look up to and a strong-willed hero to fall in love with. These two together were PURE MAGIC and their happily ever after was so well deserved.

This is one slow burn of a romance that will charm your panties off! The moment Patrick sees Morgan…I mean really sees her is my absolute favorite part of this entire romance! It’s so pure, so true, and I want to read that part over and over again. And then the blossoming of their love together was so beautiful to experience. These two were just EVERYTHING!

A brother’s best friend romantic standalone with a seriously power driven heroine.

I will tell you off the bat that it was the heroine that made this book good for me. Morgan is the new CEO of a Fortune 500 Company, Wright Construction. Yes it is a family business but she rightfully earned her place. She is a workaholic, extremely intelligent and she is a formidable force that can stand toe to toe with any man.

She does not have a lot of time for dating but she has had feelings for her brother's best friend Patrick since she was a teenager. Patrick has never appeared to see her as anything other than a kid sister until recently. Patrick is a known manwhore who does not do relationships and he is hesitant to get involved with Morgan because of what her brothers will think. Morgan was a badass. She actually propositions him first and from there things heat up.

While Patrick was not my ideal hero (I always prefer the alphas and Morgan really overshadowed him), this book was quite sexy with some swoon worthy moments.

I also loved the family dynamics of the Wrights with Morgan and her brothers and their wives. It was fun to see the reaction of her brothers when they finally find out about Morgan and Patrick. There is also a bit of non romantic angst in the storyline that made it that much more interesting to me.

I’m loving this series! Another Wright finds love in this adorable read.

Morgan has been in love with her brother’s best friend for years. Sadly, he’s none the wiser. However, when circumstances come about that make him see her in a new light, their situation shifts dramatically.

Here’s what I loved: As always, with these books, the family dynamic is a central focus and plays a huge role in the action. I adore how close the siblings are. Their relationship is how every family should be…well most of it anyway.
The main characters - Morgan is fierce. She is a take charge, no bullshit kind of girl who handles business. The fact that she’s the main protagonist was really cool. There’s a slight role reversal a play. Morgan is the bigger player and has the most on her plate. Patrick is understanding and supporting. I enjoyed seeing the dynamic play out on the pages.

The secondary characters – Austin is my dude! He cracked me up in this one! I particularly enjoyed seeing more of Sutton and can’t wait to see how her story plays out. The introduction of the new characters is really intriguing. I wonder how much of them we’ll see in the coming books.

Overall, a solid read. I recommend to romance lovers who enjoy strong female leads, tight knit families, and best friend’s little sister reads.

Morgan Wright has just taken the CEO position at her family’s company and she is a badass strong career driven woman! She has always had it bad for Patrick, who is her brother’s best friend.

Patrick can’t get involved with his Austin’s little sister. It’s against code, besides he didn’t talk to Austin for a full year after he found out Austin slept with his little sister.

I loved how understanding Patrick is about the importance of Morgan’s career and how he knows her so well that he is able to balance her “high strungness” (I just made a new word).

This book was definitely better than the last one and I cannot wait for Sutton and David’s story. I’m pretty sure Sutton’s story will be my favorite.

After Sutton's book, Morgan's book is the one I've wanted to read for the longest time. We all knew from the beginning that Morgan has a crush on Patrick but he's never seen as something more than his best friend's little sister.

But all that changes one night. And it's one whirlwind of a romance story that I really enjoyed the heck out off.

So far, I love Morgan the most out of all the Wright siblings. She's strong, independent, isn't afraid to stand up to people, is the CEO after her brother decided to leave the company. She's fearless, sassy and yet also can be really kind and vulnerable. Patrick was a pretty amazing character as well. I love how much he values his family and friends and the way he just works with Morgan made me super happy.

The more I read, the more I like everything. I'm going to miss these guys when the series is over. But I'm also super excited and can't wait for the next book. It's Sutton and David's if I'm not mistaken. Eep!

Morgan Wright is a bad ass! I always knew she was sassy, smart and determined to take over as CEO. Going into The Wright Secret, I was excited to finally see all of Morgan Wright. The woman that is Morgan and the tycoon that is Wright. It’s nice to see she’s not perfect and doesn’t always have her shit together. She’s a strong, beautiful, intelligent woman but she has issues to overcome...one of them being her crush on Patrick. Will she have to get over Patrick or will she find herself under him?

Trust me when I say, you must read this! It was perfect from beginning to end and we see so much more of the Wright clan and their significant others, which is always a plus. The Wright family is one I wish I could be a part of. The saying holds true, the more money you have, the more problems you have, especially with this family. I love reading all about them. I feel like I’m in this story with them all, I just wish it were true. Maybe one day Ms. Linde can write me in and keep me in the Wright world, that would be a dream come true. If you haven’t started this series, well get on it and start today. The Wright Secret is a 4.5 star read. Enjoy the Morgan Wright ride, I know I sure as hell did!!!

The Wright Secret ticked off all my boxes. Sexy, smart heroine who takes no crap? Check. Sexy, dirty talking, alpha male lead who isn’t afraid to love? Intricate, smart, well written story that keeps my interest from the first to last page? Check.

I’ve been waiting for Morgan and Patrick’s story to unfold and I loved every minute. Morgan in her tough as nails CEO role was sheer perfection as was her softer, sexy side with the moments spent with Patrick. And there were a lot of side moments . . . more like dirty little secret side moments. Because three overbearing, older brothers are a formidable barrier for any girl, Wright or not.

Watching Morgan and Patrick’s relationship unfold was such fun—I loved the whole “secret” aspect of it. Their clandestine meet ups where they could be found out at any moment. *cough bathroom cough* Moving forward from crush to love was swoony, sexy and sweet.

I can’t get enough of these Wright siblings! And I’m hoping *fingers crossed* that the introduction of some Canadian Wrights means more, please. ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

I have Loved this series so much. Every single book. Morgan & Patricks story I have waited so long and it was phenomenal. I love Morgan’s fierceness, her drive whether for her family or this company. Patrick is her perfect match. Even though he’s never seen Morgan the way she’s seen him. When the sparks finally ignite, there is no going back.

This was a fast, sexy, perfect book.

I adore this family. Every single character has been a favorite of mine. They aren’t perfect, but they love hard.

I cannot WAIT for what is next.

If you haven’t read this series check it out. It’s over the top addicting.

Add in the mix an evil uncle who wants the CEO position that belongs to our heroine.
It was a good read and good addition to the series.

I think it’s only right that if we got a book for each of the Wright brothers—Jensen (The Wright Brother), Landon (The Wright Boss), and Austin (The Wright Mistake)—that we get that of the ladies’ too. Because Morgan? She certainly didn’t let me down. This tale just highlighted and magnified her inner strength and beauty like no other. She did what she does best and took on life and all of its aspects—may it be family, career or love—by storm. She was a whirlwind of power and a bundle of confidence. A strong, independent heroine whose passion and dedication just flowed through her veins. A woman we’ve seen glimpses of with how huge her balls truly were even before she took on the role of being Wright Construction’s newest CEO. Once she’s got her eyes on the prize, she did all that she could to win it over—not letting anything stop her. It was absolutely nothing short of admirable.

And don’t even get me started with how perfectly well Patrick Young was able to handle and deal with a woman like Morgan. I still find it somewhat hilarious that he was completely oblivious with Morgan’s crush on him since they were teenagers, but he continuously made my heart flutter and soar all throughout the book. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t easy at all; it was definitely more than a challenge to go for someone as tough and brilliant as Mini Wright. It could’ve intimidated or even threatened Patrick’s manhood, but it didn’t. Once he truly opened his eyes and saw the woman he’s known for so long in a different light and realized how in deep he really was for her? He just owned it. He owned it and fought for it. For them. And that’s exactly the kind of man who’d perfectly fit and deserve to stand beside a beautiful woman—inside and out—like Morgan Wright.

The Wright Secret was just the story that I needed and longed for for Morgan and Patrick. It was such a riveting friends to lovers romance that will make you heave a huge happy sigh when you reach that last page. I just loved how that special friendship between them grew and developed into something more. With these two, if you’ve read the previous Wright books, you would’ve already witnessed how well they worked together—as colleagues, as friends, as family. No matter how different they were, they just clicked. That dynamic they have was utterly and uniquely theirs. And seeing that kind of foundation bloom into something brighter and more iridescent certainly made me giddy down to my toes.

Now that we have Mini Wright’s much awaited happily ever after with the guy she’s been crushing on and lusting for for the longest time, I’m excited out of my mind to have Sutton’s story in my hands as well. And what do you know, K.A. Linde has blessed us with not one, but two books for the last Wright sibling we’re dying to know more about. Because honestly, after everything that happened since The Wright Mistake, Sutton is the one who deserves a happily ever after that’s out of this world. She deserves a love that’s on blazing fire. So we’ll definitely be seeing so much more of David and her cute baby boy, Jason, in The Wright Love Duet, and I couldn’t. Be. Happier.

This was a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of friends to lovers, but this one had a little bit of a twist with a side of suspense. I love long series like this because we get to see all the previous couples living their happy lives and seeing that the two main characters belong to each other, when they obviously fight against it. But what is really special about this one is that we really get to start to know David and see how much he begins to care for Sutton and Jason. I can't wait to dive into the next two books, and the fact that it's two books, has me a little scared!

Bossy girls are strong. Bossy girls take over the world. Bossy is a compliment. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

K.A. Linde continues to engulf e-readers in flames while making hearts jump with joy in the masterful Wright series. THE WRIGHT SECRET is as strong and sassy as it is sexy and sweet. It’s HEART meets HEAT. It’s pure ANGST ADDICTION!!! I felt the ANGST bleed through me, and it was one HEADY HIGH!!! I was BREATHLESS. This book BUZZES with a thrill felt everywhere!

We were standing here, on the precipice. All we had to do was lean, and we’d free fall right off the cliff.

I want to be Morgan when I grow up. I loved Morgan and saw bits of myself in her: the sass, the strength, the sarcasm, and the vulnerability. She is a stunning, sassy, smart and sarcastic spitfire and I ADORED her. Morgan is just perfect. Patrick, her brother’s best friend and childhood crush, was perfect for her. He is one hot hero with a huge heart. K. A. Linde writes characters you can’t help but wholeheartedly love.

”I see you. All of you.”

The Wright Secret is SIMPLY DELICIOUS, a SLOW BURN, a MELT-WORTHY LOVE STORY!!! A friends-to-lovers tale that’s sassy, smoldering, tender, twisty, and full of sexual tension, The Wright Secret has all the elements of a PERFECT ROMANCE. This Wright is UNEQUIVOCALLY RIGHT.

”You’re not my dirty little secret.”

“No, I’m your Wright secret.”

Patrick and Morgan, well, what can I say. I have been waiting for this one through the whole series and it did not disappoint.

I loved the characters, I loved that Morgan is both strong and insecure. I really loved that no one really doubted that she could be CEO because she was a woman. Yes, there were some doubts about her abilities, but they were focused on her being new and the size of the company...and somewhat driven by outside forces that are spoilers.

I love the way the stories intertwine, how the other characters from the previous stories are a factor in this one, but not in such a way that they detract from the central story of Patrick and Morgan.

And, what a story it was. I loved, LOVED that she thought he pushed her aside and rejected her. This wouldn't have worked if we didn't have the dual POV, but knowing what he was thinking, and the reasons for it, helped to really be able to engage with him even when he was being an idiot.

The chemistry and the connection also really worked. To go from a friends to lovers, there has to be a strong enough connection and draw for me to be willing to believe that they would risk their friendship, and I believed it for Patrick and Morgan.

And, I can't end this without talking about supporting characters, specifically David and Sutton and how much I loved not only their story in this, and the glimpses of their relationship and the fact that there is a duet coming with their story.

I recommend this title, and I am looking forward to the next ones in the series.

I know most of us females always gush over the males in books and make them our book boyfriends. I get it. However I would like to give you a different sort of outlook.

Morgan. I loved her. She was a girl boss (like myself). Girl bosses sometimes get bad reps. They often put their lives on hold to further their personal growth and their professional growth. Men do it all the time and it's no big deal. When women do it, there has to be something wrong right? WRONG!
As an insider (love you K) I know that this author feels the same way I do. Women have the right to be true to what their goals are just as much as men do without the stigma. Morgan does that and I love her for it.

Of course the romance and the steam was also amazing but the core of the story is girl power and I love it.

Morgan is a B.O.S.S.!
Morgan is the first ever female CEO of Wright Constructions. Even though her last name is Wright she is given nothing and works twice as hard to make it to the top. I loved her work ethic and her strength. Morgan was headstrong and sassy but she also had another side to her as well. She had insecurities and vulbernabilites as well. I loved how the author did a good job of not making her too soft or too hard. It was the perfect combination in a my favorite types of female leads. With Morgan being a female CEO we are taken along a well written journey as she navigates through this male dominated field. Patrick was a sweetheart and I liked his character but Morgan stole the show for me in this book.
This book is more than a friends to lover/forbidden romance book and I loved the message behind this story. I applaud the author for having the courage to write about a topic that is so relevant without it coming off as a public service announcement. I read this story in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed this read. As usual K.A. Linde’s writing is flawless and she is one of my few go to authors and this book did not disappoint!

In case you didn’t know, I’m a HUGE K.A. Linde fan. I’m only missing a couple of her books, which I’ll fix very soon lol! Her writing just works for me, she hasn’t let me down once. The Wright Secret was another WIN! From the first time Morgan is introduced I knew I would love her character. And the brothers best friend trope is one of my favorites.

Morgan and Patrick were perfect for each other. I’m so glad Stephanie’s boyfriend hit him with that gentle push about Morgan. It awoke Patrick even if he didn’t act at first. I loved that Morgan didn’t mince words. She wanted Patrick and put herself on the line with acting first. Of course he was dumb and fought the battle. LOL

Morgan had to split her focus between being the CEO and her new relationship. Just when you think things are going perfectly...BOOM plans change. I hated that Patrick got made to be the bad guy, but loved how he helped prove his innocence along with finding the guilty party.

I loved the glimpses we got of all the Wrights and especially David and Sutton. I’m most looking forward to their story. The broken characters always end up being my faves!

I've read all of the Wright Brother's stories and it's only fitting that we finally get to read Morgan's story - the little sister who rose through the ranks to become the running show of the Wright family business. Having had the opportunity to follow the series from the beginning, i had had the joy of watching/reading the dynamic that existed between Patrick and Morgan as well as the rest of the family. I'll admit that secretly i was cheering for these two, hoping that they'd get together because let's face it, they seem too perfect - like the ultimate power couple.

I absolutely enjoyed seeing the evolution of their relationship. Their struggles, the denial, the ups and downs, and eventually their need to overcome all their fears and misgivings to be together - or at least try. K.A. Linde definetly knows how to paint a picture on who this family is and her readers, myself included, can't get enough of it!

The Wright Secret by K.A. Linde gives us the amazing journey of Morgan and Patrick. Patrick is Morgan’s older brother, Austin’s, best friend. They have always been in each other’s lives but Patrick never allowed himself to look at Morgan than anything else as Austin’s little sister. Morgan on the other hand has always had a crush on Patrick but realized he would never jeopardize this relationship with Austin and the entire family. Morgan knows that having Patrick see her in a different light will be hard- real hard- as Patrick has pretty much enjoyed the single manwhore life and the fact that her three older brothers would kill him if he touches her doesn’t help. When a tragedy struck the family Morgan realized that no one is guaranteed a certain amount of time in life and finally decided it was time to get Patrick because you only have this one life to live. When her one chance goes in the opposite direction of how she planned she can’t help but feel a bit deflated. But as luck would have it Morgan finds herself and Patrick in a perfect circumstance that could potentially make or break them!

I have fallen in love with this family from the very first book! I was SO excited that Morgan finally got her story told. I love a strong independent woman who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to go out in get what she wants. I have been so curious about Patrick when we really got to know him in Austin’s book. When Patrick finally sees the perfect woman who has always been standing right in front of him you can’t help but swoon at how he refuses to give up on her or their relationship even if he risks losing his best friend. Morgan and Patrick are an amazing couple- their chemistry was off the charts and I just loved the way that they respected and truly feel in love with one another. If you haven’t read any of the Wright series you need to make it “wright” and do so “wright”away!! I love this series and can’t wait to see who is next!!! Morgan and Patrick will be a tough act to follow!

I was eager to start in on this next installment of The Wright series complete with our very own Morgan one of the sisters within the family. She was a force to be reckoned with, and I for one appreciated getting to look into her life.
I can only imagine how tough it is in the industry primarily a construction one to be lead by a female, but personally, I think Morgan did her job holding it down. I enjoyed seeing her find a balance between career and love life because everyone needs that special someone. I enjoyed every moment we got to glimpse with her and Patrick in the beginning. I also enjoyed when the family would get together. Some of the best conversations and dialogue I have ever read is between this family, and it brings me joy to read them. I won’t go into details because I feel like I would spoil the secret so much. Just know that I enjoyed reading every special moment with them.

NO SPOILERS!

The Wright Secret was absolutely amazing and my favorite standalone contemporary romance in the addicting and entertaining Wright series so far! K.A. Linde is beyond talented, and I have come to adore her writing style and all of the amazing storylines and characters she creates. Ms. Linde has truly outdone herself with the Wright series, and each book gets better and better. The Wright Secret completely exceeded my expectations and was so much more than I could have ever hoped for. It was phenomenal from beginning to end, and I honestly loved reading every single page of Patrick and Morgan's story.

Patrick and Morgan were amazing and I truly fell head over heels in love with them and their story. I loved their personalities and red-hot chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Patrick and Morgan's POV, and immensely enjoyed all of their banter and interactions with each other. I have dearly loved each and every couple in the Wright series, but Patrick and Morgan might be my favorite so far. I was immediately hooked to them and their story, and honestly couldn't get enough. I devoured every single page of this book, and truly couldn't have been happier with the conclusion to Patrick and Morgan's story.

The secondary characters, with the exception of a few, were once again wonderful, and I loved their addition to the story. They always add extra humor and entertainment, and I loved getting to see so many familiar faces again. There were a few pleasant twists and turns throughout, and if you've read any of the previous books in the Wright series, I think you'll enjoy them.

The Wright Secret was a sweet, sexy, swoon-worthy, and addicting standalone contemporary romance, and my favorite installment in the Wright series so far! K.A. Linde did a phenomenal job with Patrick and Morgan's story, and I was so happy with the outcome. I loved everything about this book from start to finish, and I am so freaking excited to hopefully read Sutton Wright's book this year! If you haven't read anything by K.A. Linde yet, especially the Wright series, you must do so ASAP. She is definitely one of my top favorite contemporary romance authors, and everything she writes is beyond amazing and addicting!

***5 ‘The Other Side to My Coin’ Stars***

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each Wright book I’ve read, and I have read them all because once you start, the NEED to see them all get their HEA’s is strong. So, it should come as no surprise that I was all about getting my hands on this one, especially after the little teases about Morgan’s crush on Patrick sprinkled throughout the series and I ADORED this book. It was all kinds of sweet and smexy with a good dose of humor and with just the right amount of drama to keep me turning the pages, but not wanting to toss my Kindle into the freezer.

I want my own Patrick. The man is all kinds of book boyfriend goodness. He’s loyal, honest compassionate and simply a good man who once he makes a decision, he is all in come hell or high water. Morgan. This woman is a special kind of crazy. She is such a workaholic that I wanted to reach through my Kindle and force her to stop, but I understood why she was that way and couldn’t help but admire her drive. Her passion is her job and it’s been that constant in her life. And though work does have a tendency to blind her to other things, she has a huge heart that truly cares for those she call her own.

The whole brothers best friend/best friends sibling trope is one that can go in numerous directions and can get a bit cray cray, but I loved how Patrick’s and Morgan’s journey played out. There was drama, but nothing over the top. They acted like adults, for the most part, there were a few inner conversations and actions that toed the line, but they communicated and had pretty valid reasons for keeping things on the down low and when they get busted...well it was and wasn’t what I thought would happen and I loved it. There is one major issue that lands squarely between them and it’s there from the start, so it isn’t much of a surprise when it causes a disruption in their relationship, but I like how it was handled and how everything worked out in the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Wright Secret. It was a fun read and I loved not only getting to know Patrick and Morgan, but catching up with the rest of the Wright’s and their significant others. There is a part of me that wants to claim this as my fav of them all, but we still have Sutton who is at loose ends still and from what comes to light in this book I am keeping my toes crossed that she will be getting her HEA sooner rather than later.
