"I'm in love with two men. But I can only choose one."

description

Talk about ANGST GALORE. Wow! Obviously from the synopsis you can tell that this is one heck of a love triangle novel, but I encourage you to give this one a try, even if you don't particularly enjoy traditional love triangles. It's also REALLY hard writing a review of this book, because there are spoilers everywhere you turn, so I'll be keeping it brief out of respect for the readers needing to go in blind. The beginning shows us Lila's wedding day, and we know that one man is her groom and the other is coming to object to the wedding. After that bomb is dropped, we immediately go back in time to build up to that point in the story. Fair warning-Lila does not pick a man until the very end of the book, so there will be building suspense throughout the entire book. That said, I think she made the right choice, and I can't wait to see what everyone else thinks of this story.

'HOLD THE FOREVERS' Is a full length, stand-alone romance novel by K.A. Linde

Ash was the boy who owned her heart and soul, who she gave up her virginity for in high-school, the first boy she ever loved, before she even knew what love was.

But he was also the first boy who broke her heart.

Cole was the new man in her life who stole her breath away, who made her believe in new beginnings and superpowers. Who fixed all her broken bits and made her whole.

She loved these men at different times throughout her life, separately they were there when she needed them the most. Delilah loved them both, but knew she had to let one go at some stage.

This was like watching a tennis match, when one relationship crumbled another one started, either it be with Ash or Cole it was always one or the other.

Its not until you close that very last page when you learn which man she chose, the one that knew her better than she even knew herself. All the emotional upheaval was worth it in the end. My heart was full. She finally chose the man that I was hoping she would choose, the one which knew her even better than she knew herself.

This book was one I was anticipating above all others, I knew going into this I'd be taken on an angsty rollercoaster ride and I wasn't wrong. Like a ping pong ball my emotions were all over the place. These characters literally gave me whiplash.

Hold the Forevers was one wild ride. KA Linde is known for her angsty books, and this may be one of the angstiest ones she's written to date. My stomach was in knots while reading and I was stressed out, but in the best way possible.

Lila meets her first love Ash in high school. They aren't together for long, but it left a mark on her. In college, she falls in love with Cole. Most people don't find that great love of their life, especially not when they're young. But Lila found it twice. This book spans a decade and follows Lila's journey. She loves two men, and she's getting married. One objects. Who will she choose?

I am not the biggest fan of love triangles because I'll be honest, my guy usually doesn't win. I *tried* not to get too attached to either one in this book because I didn't want my heart broken, and even though I did like both guys fairly equally, I have to admit... there was one I was pulling for just a little. And I'm happy to say, that guy got his girl. Which guy you might wonder? Well, you'll have to read it to find out.

This book is about love. Messy love. First loves and second loves. Forever loves. It's about not settling for anything less than you deserve and making choices that are hard. Lila was a brave woman and made the best choice for her, even if it wasn't the easiest. If you're looking for a book that is high on angst and emotion, you need to pick this one up! It was a page-turner and completely addicting.

Hold the Forevers by K.A. Linde is an angsty romance that grabbed my attention from the first page.

2 perfect couples. 2 great romances. The only problem is there is only one woman. Delilah is in love with two men and needs to choose one. Hold the Forevers is a unique love triangle. I could not put this book down. I started this one morning before work and I was so sad I couldn’t keep reading. All of the characters are great. The love stories and romance between Ash and Delilah and Cole and Delilah were great. It was hard to decide who I wanted Delilah to choose but I was always Team Cole. Delilah is hardworking and driven. She makes good decisions with most things except Ash and Cole. All three characters work hard to get great careers and have great friends. Delilah is in love with both of them. This was something I didn’t really get until I read the book and got inside Delilah’s head. Linde does a great job showing the reader how Delilah feels and her love for both men. I’m usually not a fan of love triangles but loved this book. Hold the Forevers is my new favorite book of hers. I highly recommend Hold the Forevers to romance readers.

Thank you Wild Fire Marketing Solutions and K.A. Linde for Hold the Forevers.

Ava..Girlfriend, you here need to get your shit together.

I have a sucker for the whole love triangle trope.. you know you’re going to be in a world of angst heaven! Hold the Forever definitely delivers on the angst because Sweet baby Jesus! The back and forth.. Lila and Cole, Lila and Asher X God knows how many more back and forth… I’ve lost count….exhausting!

People say I can be dramatic at times (typical boring NORMAL person *ahem*) but the drama in this book is at times totally unnecessary. I think for once, I sound like a logical human being hahahaha

Was Hold the Forevers perfect? Far from it! But did it deliver the few characteristics that we expect from a love triangle romance? Yes.
Trigger warning because there is cheating involved. If your tolerance of frustrating characters is high then this book is perfect for you. Is it steamy? Oh that is perfection. Come on! You cant expect a love-triangle and not expect some steamy steamy scenes 🔥

So I’m kinda confused about how to rate this book. On one hand, I did enjoy it.. definite page turner but having read this book a while back, a tad forgettable? It’s for the moment..you get what I mean?
But on the other hand, I don’t think I enjoyed it as much as I did with some other books which are under the same trope.
But I did love the ending…and that epilogue 😍😍 *Be still my beating heart*

So…A solid 3.75….almost 4 but not entirely.

I'm not really a fan of mixed feelings and love triangles at all, but since this is a book was written by one of my favorite authors, I had to see what type of reading delight has she prepared this time. And although this trope is really not my cup of tea, I must admit that indeed this clash of emotions managed to hold my attention until the very end.
What is the right decision? How to choose, when the heart is divided, and all reason is lost in the whirlpool of confusing feelings... That is the story of Delilah, the girl who is torn between two loves... The senior year of high school brings Ash- a great guy that manages to capture her attention and win her emotions, but college brings the sexy-as-sin football player Cole, who also awakens a storm of emotions…...Time goes by, she loses and wins both of them, but one question remains… Who should be the one who deserves the forevers?
K.A Linde and her brilliant writing are the sole reason that made me choose to read this book, and I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed at all. Nice descriptions and the well-plotted story are some of the things I love about the author. This really might not be my type of story, but the writing style is amazing, with enough uniqueness to make it a memorable read. But what constantly amazes me is the way she manages to intertwine raw emotions into words, manipulatively carrying the reader in one direction, just to insert such a twist, to leave you with your mouth ajar. At times I literally had to re-read certain passages. I couldn’t believe my eyes. And the mix of angst and tension had me on the edge of the chair till the very end. The main, as well as the supporting characters, are absolute perfection, real characters that will amaze every reader with their perfect imperfection. Delilah is a character who managed to irritate me terribly in certain parts, but somehow in the end I managed to understand her confusion and indecision. Both men were perfect book boyfriends, with flaws and virtues. Ash was the silent, strong type but he was manipulative. Cole was upfront, sincere but quick to anger. The supporting characters were an excellent addition to the story, making it more appealing.
Riveting and angsty till the last page, this story will grab your attention and won’t let go till you finish the last page. A perfect choice for those who enjoy a more conflicting love story that includes more than one love….

I read this as I have liked a few books by this author and if not like an angsty read.
I didn't realize it was mostly high school/college age.
Solo POV from the heroine.
Triangle in the sense that she gets together with the other man when she and the other, other man break up and wash, rinse, repeat.
It felt to me that she switches from one man to the other and back again over the years but one of the other men in particular seemed to consistently have other woman every time she caught up with him.
I did feel she got together so quickly with this one that what did she really expect?

She is intimate with both men when she is in a relationship with that person.
No ménage.
At one point she is in a relationship with Ash and spends the night with Cole.
When she is officially single she has a few hook-ups.
It does switch back and forth in the timeline from chapter to chapter, where she is with one man in one chapter then the other in the next then wash, rinse, repeat.
The chapters are labelled by years but I thought it was confusing.

The ending... She chooses one but as the issue was sustainability of any of the relationships with either men so I felt the reader needed to see their HEA play out.
But I'm not sure if the secondary characters will have stories and maybe we will see their HEA through their books.... Maybe....

I won't reread this one.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Not being a fan of love triangles, I wavered in my decision to read this latest romance novel from Linde. Then I thought, its Linde so chances are I would miss out on a great story, because of my dislike for the trope. So here we are.

The story started out with Delilah's wedding day in progress . However, the day did not go has planned as the ceremony got interrupted by someone lodging an objection to their nuptials. Who was she getting ready to marry and who lodged the objection, were the two biggest questions on my mind? Then, as the events unfolded, I kept wondering who would she choose.

Hold the Forevers took me on the angstiest of journeys I have ever been on. Dear Lord, it’s a mystery how I never suffered whiplash from the constant back and forth. One moment Delilah was with Ash then next she was with Cole. I kept thinking to myself, girl, make up your mind already.  As the story progressed, I saw why she had difficulty in deciding who would be the right one.

I am not keen on cheating and could have done without it, but I guess it was needed to drive the story. This incident of cheating made me realise where exactly Delilah’s heart lay. Although, at that point in time, I wanted to shake some sense into her. Her heart, her body, and not her brain were doing her thinking. She may have had feelings for them both, but only one had the power to both break and heal her.

They say first love never dies, so it wasn’t difficult to see why she found it hard to let go of Ash, even after the heartbreak he had caused. Also, letting go of Cole was also a tough choice as he was the one who broke down her barriers and aided her in opening her heart to second chance at love.

I loved both male leads, but if I had to choose, it would definitely be Cole. They both loved her, and the genuineness of their feelings for her leapt off the pages. Cole, however, proved to be the one who really knew her.

The story moved between three timelines, high school, college and current. I had the chance to see how the relationships between the characters developed.

The story ended, leaving no doubt in my mind regarding the reason for Delilah’s choice. I understood why she made that choice, but did she get right in the end? Well, I will let you be the judge of that.

Overall, Hold the Forevers turned out to be a solid read, which fans of angst and love triangles would definitely loveThis review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

A complicated mess – angst-filled pages that at times felt a little too repetitious and a lead female named Delilah who I found unlikable most of the time as she drove me mad three-fourths of the time. And a pair of males bent on having her – no matter the circumstances or treatment.

A hit and miss for me – parts I really liked and parts that I disliked very much. The whole back and forth between this triangle got old real fast. And there’s enough angst to fill an ocean. I found myself in a real dilemma over how to rate this book.

The only thing that really sold this one for me was the ending – because I got my pick. I felt he was the only one who earned the chance of happily-ever-after and I hope that Delilah lives up to her end of the bargain. She’s not known for her certainty!

I LOVE love triangles but this was way way way too much. There was so much back and forth that it was absolutely ridiculous. I’m not sure how the author expected us to ever connect with either relationship when we couldn’t trust the h to stay with one or the other.

Also, she played the victim. She broke up with Cole when he finally lost his temper after constantly being instigated by Ash the asshole... and btw how we would ever root for the guy who asked her out as a dare in high school and NOT ONCE WAS IT EVER EXPLAINED. She loved whoever was in front of her face at the time.

The time jumps were so damn all over the place ... like honestly 2015, to 2012 to 2009 to 2016 to 2010 etc. and every time she was with either Ash or Cole. Like in an actual relationship, living together or engaged.

If this book would of had another chapter she would of changed her mind again. No doubt about it.

What a ride!!!

This book was everything and more!!

Angst, drama, emotional, and a hot cover!

This isn't my usual book that I read and enjoy. It is honest about being one of my major pet peeves in the blurb so I was scared to read it...lol

However it amazing. I haven't read a 5 star since I finished. I keep thinking about it.

It was such a roller coaster that I wanted to end but didn't in a way because I know I would lose it if my guy didn't "win". It kept me hooked until the very last minute.

Get this book! You won't regret it.

This isn't the worst story I have ever read, But I DESPISE the characters. I feel very strongly about Lila, in a way that I haven't felt since reading Thoughtless by S.C Stephens where Keira evoked similar feelings of "I want to smack you."

Without delving too much into the plot because I have given too much time to this book and don't wish to give it anymore of my time, the characters were severely undeveloped. I mean, what made Lila so special for guys to be pining after her for over a decade. I am convinced that this became more of a competition amongst Cole and Ash because Lila as a prize was laughable.

I actually find the character's name Delilah to be interesting because I associate that name with betrayal and someone who used her charms to lure a man to his downfall. I imagined Lila as this pendulum that swung every other chapter between Cole and Ash. It was just so pathetic and annoying.

I kept reading as I hoped she would finally grow a backbone and figure out what she wanted but nope. It's clear that her friends and her mom didn't give her any useful and honest words to help her deal with her self-centeredness. I try not to judge women to harshly but Lila sucked.

Two stars for the audio narration which was really good.

There have always been two men in Lila’s life—Ash & Cole—and now on the day of Lila’s wedding, she’s forced to choose between her groom and the one who doesn’t want her to go through with “I do.” And just like always, Lila doesn’t know who to choose because her heart wants both of them.

Hold the Forevers by KA Linde is a love triangle romance full of angst. We follow Lila from high school where she meets Ash, her high school sweetheart, through college where she meets Cole, the boy who put together he broken heart. For over a decade, we see Lila struggle with her love for both Ash & Cole, jumping back and forth, which causes so much angst. It’s both addicting and frustrating all at once. Love triangles can be hit or miss for me but this one was a hit! I would’ve rated it higher but I didn’t feel I could because I didn’t love any of the characters. I didn’t feel as emotionally connected to them as I wanted to. With that said, I couldn’t put this one down and I was frantically turning the pages, wondering who Lila would choose. Definitely recommend for lovers of compulsive, addicting reads! 4/5 stars.

Linde kept my attention like a boss with this book. The ups and downs nearly killed me. The angst caused me to shed more than a few tears. The not knowing who was going to be the winner of her heart until the END was great. The ONLY thing that made me short this half a star was the ending. Wow...what a crazy, emotional roller coaster. I LOVE a good, angsty love triangle and this story had me wavering from beginning to end. Ash or Cole...Ash or Cole... I have to admit that I had a strong favorite and my heart was constantly dropping when Lila would be caught between the two. Such intense drama filled with jealousy and bad decisions...I loved every single page. I couldn't put the book down! I feel like K.A. DISCLAIMER: I'm not a big fan of books that center around cheating or a love triangle, as much as possible I avoid those books. Even though it's fiction yet at the same time, it can be very relatable in some way or life in general. And like what they say "once a cheater always a cheater." So long story short I'm super picky primarily in books that contain cheating(physical/emotional) and a love triangle.

Anyways this particular book, which I just finished reading earlier this morning, funny how those two tropes that I adamantly evade are highly cited in the story arc. The book alone will drain you both from mental and emotional standpoints. The back and forth circumstance between our 3 main characters will make you frustrated and keep your eyes rolling.

What I love most about the book, is the way the author writes our heroine's character. You can truly perceive the emotional predicament that she's dealing with, being in love with two guys is f**ked up. Yes, most of her actions are selfishly done, but the way the author writes and delivers the narrative is exemplarily done and from the reader's viewpoint you can't help but feel sympathy and comprehend her.

To conclude, it's hard to write a review without giving spoilers, because there are so many in-depth inclinations in regards to the book. From the plot, storyline down to character growth. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it ♡.

Oh. My. God. My heart. I was ready because I knew it was going to be angst filled but at the same time, I was not ready at all for what actually came. This was definitely my favorite by Kyla and probably had the best writing as well! The angst, the emotion, the story was all so freaking good.

This is a vague review but for a very good reason, literally everything is a spoiler. BUT I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE PERSON SHE CHOSE. I was biting my nails the entire time, hoping she chose him. I was almost tempted to see the last page and than go back to the reading but I couldn't do that to myself.

So happy I got to read this when I did! I needed it!

4.25 stars- HOLD THE FOREVERS by KA Linde is a stand alone, contemporary new adult to adult erotic, romance story line focusing on Delilah ‘Lila’ Greer, Cole Davis and Ash Talmadge.

Told from first person perspective (Delilah ‘Lila’ Greer) jumping between several timelines covering approximately fourteen years in the life, HOLD THE FOREVERS focuses on the love triangle between Delilah Greer, Cole Davis and Ash Talmadge.

Ash Talmadge was Lila’s high school sweetheart but Ash’s family had his future already mapped out, and Lila was not in the plans. Prom reveals a heart crushing secret, and our heroine, humiliated and beyond reason, runs away from the man she would always love.

Lila will meet Cole Davis at the University of Georgia, and it is insta-love for our story line couple but at every turn Lila would come face to face with Ash Talmadge, and in this the love Lila has for Cole is equally matched by the love Lila continues to feel for the boy, now man, who broke her heart. As the years pass, our heroine finds herself the careless and self-absorbed architect of a dangerous game of heart break and emotions wherein Cole and Ash would inevitably be pitted against one another in an effort to prove who was more worthy of Lila’s love, and in the end, Lila would destroy that love over and over again.

HOLD THE FOREVERS is a frustrating story of embattled love; a vicious and inescapable cycle of love and loss, deception and dishonesty, infidelity, passion, forgiveness and romance. Whether knowingly or unintentionally, our heroine continues to undermine the trust of both Cole and Ash but both men are unable to let go of the woman they could never stop loving, and in this all three participants are equally responsible for the heart ache and pain.

KA Linde pulls the reader into a roller coaster of emotions, heart break, friendships and love. Lila Greer loves both men equally but wanting both will force our heroine to choose, leaving one man destroyed , and the other hoping for a happily ever after.

HOLD THE FOREVERS will be a struggle for readers who dislike cheating and infidelity in their romance story lines. In the ebook copy, there is a link to an epilogue seven years in the future-here’s hoping the author has plans to write a story for the man who is forced to walk away from the woman he loves.

Hold the Forevers is probably one of the most angsty books I have read in a long time. I don't think I have ever hated and loved characters as much as I did with these three.

Lila is in love with two men. Ash she met and dated in high school. Cole she met and dated in college.

Ash and Lila's high school relationship ended because she saw it based on too many lies.

Cole and Lila's relationship ended because the distance was just too much for them as they focused on moving forward in their careers.

During the 10+ years these relationships span, one thing is constant – Lila chooses was it most convenient and comfortable for her at that time. She loves Ash and Cole in her own ways and they both love her desperately. At times it felt as if they saw her as a possession and nothing more.

At one point, Lila does her best in figuring out how to move past both of them because her heart and mind can't continue on this ping pong path forever. And neither gentleman is willing to walk way from her. But as the story goes with these three, it’s not quite easy to move on – even after a year of trying to move on.

But it's on her wedding day, when she truly finds the right answer – that partner that has known her better than she knew herself.

I won't say who she ends up with – I will say it's who I rooted for the whole time. YAY!!!

This book kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. I could not put this love triangle fiasco down. I won't lie – there were so many times I wanted to slap the shit out of Lila and tell her to just cut them both off and move away. I also wanted to throttle Cole and Ash for their actions. But I was also sucked into this whole story and had to know, not only who she ended up with, but what happened during all those years that made it so damn hard to choose.

Hold the Forevers by K.A.Linde brings all the angst of a love triangle that twists and twists your soul till you break and still you have to go on because you can feel the nirvana waiting for you at the end of this emotional wreckage.

This is the heartbreaking story of Lila, Ash and Cole. Ash is the guy she first fall in love and who broke her heart. Cole is the guy who made her fall in love again. But she never stopped loving Ash. So begins a long story of heartbreak and epic love. Lila has to make a decision now as her wedding day is here. Who will she choose?

This love triangle was so beautifully executed. Both guys are pretty well balanced. I couldn't choose one if you ask me. So, Lila, I feel your pain. As the story is spread over years, you get to see the characters evolve and grow up. And with time, their dynamics also change and that was interesting. Ash comes across the more edgy and cocky guy and he does everything intensely. Cole is the more level headed and mature but his love for Lila is explosive and all consuming. Lila's confusion and frustration was portrayed with perfection. You could literally feel she is being torn apart by her love for two men. And the author will tear your heart out too. The storyline is brilliantly planned with well placed coincidences and dramatic changes. You will be at the edge as the characters go through the ride of their lifetime. And I am happy to tell you that Lila did choose the guy I wanted her to choose!

Love triangles aren't the easiest stories to make readers fall in love with. But K.A.Linde created the perfect friction and delicious emotional torture in Hold the Forevers.

KA Linde is the queen of angst.

It's difficult for the soul to choose between what is right or good for you versus what the heart wants, when the heart is torn in half by two different men.

Ash. Lila fell fast and hard, the irreparable kind of love. The first love that always leaves your heart in tatters but never truly lets your soul go.

Cole. Wounded and fragile, Lila is leery of men after her first crash and burn, as she makes good life choices but catastrophic love choices. Cole is beyond persuasive, Lila discovering it's possible to experience a great love again.

Then Ash crashes back into Lila's life, and she has a choice to make. An impossible choice between the two great loves of her life. Sometimes they're good for her. Most of the time they're bad for her. But which one knows her best?

Standing before the altar, the reader has no idea which of these two men Lila chooses until the very end. An angsty journey through the lives and loves of Lila with Ash and Cole, dragging the reader's emotions along for the ride.

Word of warning, if you're not in an angsty mood, Hold the Forevers will be difficult to read, frustrating and stressful, particularly wishing to shake some sense into Lila. If you're in the mood to be put through the emotional wringer, this book is perfect for you. The reader will either be Team Ash or Team Cole- thrilled should their team win or devastated if their team loses, emotionally invested in the outcome.

Quintessentially Linde.

3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars! Love triangle romance. It was too much back and forth for me. I still feel like she’s going to switch up the guys once she gets married to one of them. I didn’t care very much for this heroine, she just kept going back and forth with these two guys. Unsatisfactory.

This book is a solid 3.5 stars but I bumped it up to 4 because it doesn't deserve 3 stars.

This book follows Delilah (Lila) Greer. We start with her wedding day where as she meets her groom at the alter, it is interrupted by another man. And we see that she is in love with and torn between two men. We go back and forth in time through the book.

It starts with her in high school and meeting and falling in love with the first of the two men, Ash. They date in secret for 6 months because Ash comes from a rich, influential family that does not approve of Lila. It all comes crashing down at prom where she finds out some bitter truths and heartbreak and says goodbye to Ash.

We then pick up with Lila in college where we see her in class being asked out by Cole. She and Cole fall in love and date for over a year and a half. Suddenly Cole has gotten his dream job in San Francisco, clear across the country. They try long distance but it doesn't work.

There are a lot of intricacies between how the three of their stories weave in and out of each other's lives. How these men come and go through Lila's life is interesting but sometimes a bit contrived. I love the idea that she has had these two great loves of her lives and she loves them both equally.

Here's where I have some issues. Ash dated her in secret for 6 months in high school. While that is very long in high school years, that's not that long in actual time. Plus the devastating end to that relationship makes it hard for me to want to cling to. But i also understand that those types of relationships, especially when they're your first have long lasting effects on your heart and mind.

Now Lila was with Cole for a year and a half. They dated openly and freely. They were older and more mature. They were in college having a lot of freedoms you don't have in high school. This was an established relationship which had a messy ending but not because of an issue like with Ash but because of distance (although there was some drama mixed in).

Throughout the rest of the book Lila literally goes from Ash to Cole to Ash again and again. She dates them through various time periods and for various lengths of time throughout the book. When you finally get to her wedding day and the man she's supposed to be marrying it had become a long arduous journey to get there. She finally picks a man for good, leaving the other man and that part of her heart behind her.

I liked a lot of this book but it was also difficult for me to watch her go back and forth between these two men because it felt so contrived to me. Do I think someone can love two men? Of course they can but the way she went back and forth between relationships was hard for me. I felt like she was using both of them. She took who she could have at the moment and stayed with them without fully resolving her feelings for the other. That's what bites her in the end. It comes to blow on her literal wedding day. I also think her friends did her a real disservice by not having that tough conversation with her. To really force her to sit and sift through her real feelings and challenging her to not take one if there are still feelings for the other. Not fair to any of the three of them really. She never had any real relationships outside these two men and although she tried dating it didn't seem she was all that serious about it, giving in very easily once one of the men pushed her into giving it another chance.

There is a bonus epilogue available that you can download at the end of the book and I really enjoyed reading it. I think it gave the book the closure that I needed. That the story needed really.

I struggled with the rating on this book and in the end I feel like I may be on the opposing side but these are my honest thoughts and opinions.

The minute I read the synopsis for this book I was intrigued and knew I wanted to read it, but in the end I had trouble keeping focus while reading and just couldn't connect and truly get into the storyline.

While I did enjoy the angsty parts of Hold The Forevers, I just didn't enjoy the constant back and forth, back and forth. It almost felt like she was stringing along both the characters and I just wanted to reach in and give the heroine a little shake.

And the connection between the heroine and either of the males really lacked for me. I did however, enjoy certain parts of both their relationships (banter, meet-cutes), overall it their connections just lacked that spark/chemistry for me.

*I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely amazing! This one had me guessing who the groom would be until the very end. Nobody does a love triangle book quite like Linde. Such a fun, angsty, steamy read. I’m already dying for a reread.

I’m not even sure where to start with the review. I finished this book over a day ago and I can’t move on or get it out of my head. Hold the Forevers is a story that I know will stay with me for a long time.

Hold the Forevers is a love story about life altering, earth shattering all consuming love. The only problem is that Delilah experiences it with not one, but two different men, Ash and Cole.
I haven’t read a book with this level of angst in such a long time. The back and forth between each couple was a rollercoaster ride. But I got it, the way Lila feels about each one is that deep in your soul kind of love that doesn’t go away. The book spans the course of 11 years, it goes back and forth in time a bit but not in a confusing way. The story was so perfectly written, in Lila’s POV only. While I would have loved to get inside the head of both Cole and Ash, I think you needed to hear lila’s thoughts. She was the one always in the middle of these two great loves.

I was rooting for one of the men through the entire book. There was something about their connection that drew me to him more. In the end, the story ended perfectly. I loved very character in the book. I loved that Lila never played the damsel in distress, she wasn’t playing with either of the men’s emotions, she truly loved them both. I would never want to be put in her situation but I think she handled it the best she could.

A heart stopping 6 star book!!
