Amazing handheld PC!
When I decided I was going to get a handheld gaming pc, I shopped around for a few days, reading reviews and comparing different options. I eventually settled on this one and I’m glad I did. I’ve never used the one x player or gpd win, so I don’t have any other experiences to compare it to. But either way, this thing is awesome!First of all, there’s been a few people saying this thing comes with malware, mine didn’t seem to have it but I’m not totally sure cause I reinstalled windows before doing anything. That’s what everyone recommended just to make sure you have the latest updates so I had no problem with that. After I reinstalled everything that I needed on there, I’ve been having a blast with it. I’ve mostly been playing Genshin Impact and all I can say is wow. It runs just as well as it runs on my PS4. I get a solid 60 fps without adjusting any kind of settings. The only thing that’s a little annoying is the battery life, I get about 2 hours when playing that game. But that’s no big deal because I’ve been playing at home and I can plug it in and play while it’s charging.Other than Genshin, the only other games I’ve played have been GameCube games on an emulator. They run perfectly and I’m very impressed. The other thing I love about this device is that it’s about the same size as my switch, just a little thicker and heavier. And even though the screen isn’t an oled or anything, it looks amazing. The colors look great and I have been impressed. The crappy part about the screen is that it has a little bit of light bleed, but I haven’t noticed it too much.Overall, I love this thing and it was definitely worth the purchase. I don’t play any crazy triple A games like cyberpunk so it easily meets my needs.

What can I say other than... Junk, just junk. Imperfections in the finish, the left trigger has a snag, the right joystick is loose, windows won't even operate correctly and I cannot open the settings within it so I have to create a media drive and change the bootload menu to install a fresh copy of windows before I even use the thing... Not to mention the rattling fan after about 30 min of use...

Unfortunate I have to write this review but if I can save one person from wasting money I will. Straight up the product itself is great. The Aya Neo does exactly what it says on the tin, it's an incredibly powerful handheld computer. The reason for my poor review is simply bad support for the seller of this product on Amazon. After discovering that my right joy-stick was completely broken I returned the item but was not issued a full refund. The seller, Zestioe, tried to charge me a restocking fee for a defective product. Absolutely ridiculous and for that reason alone I cannot recommend purchasing this product from Amazon, at least from Zestioe, try find another seller or get it elsewhere..

The specs are pretty decent for a device this size. It makes for a great portable gaming machine with the Ryzen 4500U APU.

The biggest issue with this device and at this price point is the lackluster quality control. The unit I received had a number of glaring issues right out of the box. Immediate upon powering up the machine, I noticed SIGNIFICANT light bleeding from the lower right hand corner. I have handhelds that are 1/10 of the price and don't have this issue.

Second, the left analog trigger on my device would get jammed when gaming. Again, this is very obvious upon initial impressions and would've been uncovered easily if the unit had undergone some level of QC.

The last issue I had was with Windows itself. Granted, this is a software problem and mostly lies with Microsoft. However, the unit is SHIPPED with Windows and the device did not have any updates installed yet when I immediately noticed that the device could not get into any settings options. Again, it's a software issue but I will place some blame on AYA here since the unit was shipped to me this way.

The reality is that at the price point they are selling this device for, these issues really can't be ignored and ultimately led me to return my unit. It's just not acceptable to me that I have to simply "live" with these issues or troubleshoot a new device right out of the box to fix Windows. I did fix the Windows issue by manually installing the update since I couldn't get into Windows update any other way due to the settings issue.

Regardless, I will look for another option to hold me over until I receive my Steam Deck.
