I have read a few of Ms Wayne's works. Family is a big theme. This one definitely brings that home. There is love and anger, violence and gore. The strength within each of us, usually isn't found until something forces us to dig deep. This is the 3rd book in the series. If you have not read the first 2, get to it! <3 =) I recommend the author and this story. There are descriptive sex scenes in this book. If you have read Jessica before, then you know

Stolen Mate, book 3 in Jessica Wayne's awesome Shadow Cursed trilogy, will keep you entranced from beginning to end. Greed and revenge seem to be the primary motivators. The storyline is fast-paced and very well written, filled with werewolves, swamp cursed creatures, an evil/diabolical king, sorcerers, witches, giants, vampires, true mates, ambition, cruelty, hardship, inner strength, and incredible sex. The characters are well developed and engaging. Kiya refuses to give in to Julius, preferring death before she'll let him touch her. Merrick is driven by a single desire; to save Kiya at cost. What happens if the price becomes higher than the kingdom can afford to pay? Will they keep fighting, or will they abandon them both to save themselves? This truly is a fantastic series, and Stolen Mate makes the perfect finale!

Entertaining series! Fun finale! Loved the connection between Merrick and Kiya! These two have been through so much, and have remained strong and determined. Enjoyed all the action and danger! An exciting read!
