Best travel undies ever: Wear Merino wool or stink.

Terrific underwear. Comfortable. Does not stink.... merino wool wicks moisture away from your skin, so if you get wet, or you sweat... (pee? Not as much) They hold up well. I had two pairs of merino wool undies, these and another brand or style. I wore one or the other every day for three months. No stink, they held up exceptionally well. They are pricey, but absolutely worth it. For travel and trekking, for me: there is no other underwear I'll take. Synthetics? Iv'e got some that are pretty good for travel because you can wash them out.... These are significantly better.
One thing. They run large and they stretch. As an American who wears 'Large' I know I'm really a Medium, but medium is usually too tight. I bought a third pair of these in the UK, I bought Medium--the fit is perfect. (Is a UK Medium the same as an American Medium? probably)

Merino wool has the capability to mask orders, keep you warm with the thinnest material around. The boxer is very soft against the skin and has a Fly. Most other Merino wool boxers I have owned did not. No big deal but it's there regardless of how you do your business. I wear these in lieu of padded bicycle shorts underwear and feel very comfortable after miles of riding.

I first bought 3 pair of these last year, of the 3 one is worn out and the other two are in perfect shape. Presumably they've all been worn and washed about the same number of times but one pair started pilling early and had several small holes wear through the bottom of them. The other two look perfect and have lots of life in them, if I had to base it on just the two good pair I'd give 5 stars, on just the one pair I'd only give 2 stars. The fit on these is comfortable, no rubbing or rashes even when running, cycling or hiking in the heat of summer and they dry out quick after jumping into random water on a whim. I like them enough that despite the cost and the one pair wearing early I'll keep buying them.

These boxers develop holes in the seat within just a few months of wearing them. For the price, I expected them to last a lot longer. Other merino wool products I wear either last a lot longer or have a lifetime warranty. As comfortable as these are, I won’t be buying any more of these.
