My Edge 130 is installed on a new bike.   I've been using an Edge 25 for 4 years and like it a lot.   
The main screen  on the 130is very adjustable for the things I need; speed, distance, cadence, time of day and average speed.  I can't write about all the other features because I don't need or use them.  Battery life is good.  I wish it would talk to my Apple Watch so I could pick up the heart rate from the watch.  The button logic is good, it's a little more complicated to use than the Edge 25 but you'll get used to it.

After a couple weeks of use, I'm generally quite happy with the unit: logging and exporting tracks, uploading courses (through Connect and manually as GPX). Display is very clean, and battery life is as advertised. Two items on the wish list: the ability to have navigation screen set to N as up, and the ability to leave navagtion screen and elevation profile at a custom zoom level.

Small, lightweight, best of functionality

Read/watch many reviews for this unit. As advertised, the only short-coming is navigation, which I would do w/out completely, so unit is perfect. 
It's easy to get the hang of for basic functions. I don't have heart, speed, or power monitors, so no comment there. 
It was hard to get sync'd or paired to my phone. It took many attempts but I think that was my Wifi/internet/phone trouble and not the device. 
Love how you can still program the display from btwn 1 to 8 diff functions shown, even on this low-priced unit. That is an awesome feature.

Just what the low(er) frills rider needs!

First and foremost the battery life is so much better than my old Garmin 520. It quickly and consistently picks up my sensors for heart rate and cadence. And it is much faster in reporting the current gradient of my climbs. I like the small size of the computer and much prefer the simple buttons to a touch screen.

Best Value for the Price

First time out in the road and already very satisfied.  I have been using my Vivoactive HR+ for my rides, but missed having the stats right in front of me(without have to look at my wrist).  The 130 gives all the features I need in a package small enough to fit easily on the handle bar or stem.

Easy to set up, easy to use.

I have never been one for a ton of features because I think it takes away from the simple joy of cycling. This computer allows me to get everything I want to out of a ride and more. I love using it and it is so easy to use. The only bad thing is that you can't syn up with Google maps directly. I would get one again in a heart beat.

Great little package

This was an upgrade from an Edge 25. I use it primarily for 1 to 2 hour training rides. It connects to devices and GPS quickly, can go days without needing to be charged, syncs flawlessly with Garmin Connect on my phone, and was easy to configure. The size is unobtrusive, which helps because my handlebar has limited space for mounting devices alongside a light, bell, and sometimes phone.

Syncs easily with sensors & phone. Live Tracking is great and was the big selling point for me. My family knowing where I am and if I'm safe makes me feel more confident about taking new routes. This is my first Bike Computer and I couldn't be happier. Great features for a Dad-friendly budget.

My Biking Buddy!

For the most part this is an impressive device. If you chose top order make sure you add a HR monitor and stand off mount....Now for the bad news, I can hold my breath longer than the 130 battery lasts. Looked at an additional battery which will cost as much as the Edge, really! You need to plug the Edge in after each ride so leave a sticky note as a reminder before loading your bike for transport to a trailhead....

So I'm was an 820 user who was lookign for something less feature rich.  In all honesty, thsi doesn't have enough features.   But the screen is completely awesome and hope garmin starts some improvements on the 520 plus and future larger models to have this level of resolution.

I bought this from reviews and my bike shop recommendation.  I find it way behind my Edge 500.  The only reason I bought the 130 was the 500 didn't sync with my computer any more.  Too much to figure out simple things in 130.  Haven't figured out how to have 5 fields, manual doesn't really give you enough to make it easy.  Timer doesn't stop when I stop, which gives me incorrect timing.  Too many things to go over now..........as I said, I wish my 500 kept going, it's all I needed and was simple to run and set up.

I miss my Edge 500.........
