    Received a used multimeter?
    The multimeter that I received looks used and has a warranty expiration sticker on the back with the date 12/2012, which is almost a decade ago. It also has a sticker saying that it was calibrated on 12/2011.The box is pretty beaten up and has newer looking labels covering the original ones on the box.I don’t mind paying for quality, but this doesn’t seem like it.

The model 77-IV is a good general purpose meter without a lot of bells and whistles you may never need. The designation Automotive Digital Multimeter is a little misleading. It's not just for automotive use.
