The premise of this novel is really good, but the execution wasn't as good. I read previous novels from this author and was really happy with the character development and a fresh story. The previous novels focused on the people and how they were affected by the Eden plague, and it made them quite enthralling. I read them whenever I had time. This novel however, seemed to focus on the spectacle of the situations and paid little attention to the characters. Not bad, but could be more interesting.

A good read. If you like military space opera you'll probably enjoy this one. Well written and paced with drama and action.
