About this ebook

Captured. Tortured. Persecuted.

Sienna isn’t sure how much longer she can hang on to the shred of humanity left within her. Not when her only chance at escape would be to destroy what is left of her soul.

Daxon is hell-bent on tearing apart the realm in order to find the Sage who has saved his life more times than he can count. But as the journey grows more perilous each and every day, Daxon is forced to confront the very real possibility that they may never recover the Sienna they once knew.

As these two fight to find their way back to each other, they are faced with decisions that will determine the fate of the realm, and all those who live within it.

Don't miss this intense follow-up to Jessica Wayne's Warrior Of Magick! Perfect for anyone who loves explosive fantasy with an epic plot and steamy romance.

Loving this series so far! The whole premise is really cool; loving all the magical elements and characters. Sienna is super fierce! She’s been treated so poorly and has had to kill a lot of people, so she’s having difficulty seeing the good in herself, but this woman has a good heart. Love the passionate connection between Daxon and Her; some really sweet moments too. Daxon was so horrible to her towards the end of the last book, so he really needs to make amends for his actions. This book picks up right where the first book left off, Sienna has been kidnapped and is being tortured, Daxon and Zane are trying to find her. Unfortunately, there’s many dangerous foes out there, so it’s not going to be an easy task. Lots of secrets and corruption come to light, so the group has a lot to deal with. There’s multiple POV’s in this book, which I enjoyed most of them. More of Corinne in this; I haven’t been a huge fan of hers since the prequel, but she’s growing on me. I’m just one of those readers that likes the focus to be on one female lead, but Corrine has vastly improved since the prequel, so I’m starting to like her. I’m not a huge fan of Zane and Her, but there’s a good connection there. I just don’t like that Sienna and Zane slept together so recently, so it’s weird for me. It would’ve been better if Sienna and Zane had just been best friends, or even if they tried being together when younger but decided just friends was better; it all just seems too close together and too fast. Especially, since Zane still acts like he’s in love with Sienna; why is he lusting after Corinne but still giving Sienna a hard time about Daxon? That’s why I can’t fully get behind Corinne and Zane. The cliffhanger definitely leaves things up in the air with some things, so I’m in anticipation of the next book. Loved the action and suspense of this book; so entertaining! I’ve really enjoyed all the books in this series so far! A great series!
