Explosive (literally and figuratively), smexy, unpredictable, chaotic. This book had a lot going on. I’m probably in the minority, but this was my first MB book. Perhaps Tempting is akin to her normal writing style, but I found myself struggling to grasp what was happening. I really loved the unexpected twists and the forbidden love story, and especially the powerful female characters in leadership roles. But more times than I can count, I was re-reading and making notes about who was who. Ultimately I still feel like I missed some important things. I wonder how much difference it would have made to have read the Boys of Brayshaw High series prior. All this said, I have every intention of reading the rest of the series and, if time allows, Boys as well.

even if i drew the worlds biggest mindmap to try and understand the plot i fear it wouldn’t be enough for me …. and the characters names are a crime because who names their children bronx, boston, delta, ROCKLIN ?????

Ugh, this one starts off with with a BANG. It starts off in the past with Bastian dealing with his abusive father as a child. While this aspect was sad, it also added depth to Bass and let us know a bit about his history and where he came from/how he grew up.
Our FMC is the opposite, she grew up spoiled and rich, however, she isn't just some innocent princess, she's been taught how to protect herself and has quite the clever mind. I felt like she was actually quite the badass. :)
Did I mention that this man not only has a pierced peen, but he has one of the filthiest mouths? I LOVED him!!!
I really enjoyed the secret society aspect of this, I was intrigued and curious about all of the secrets and what these people who were part of this society were up to.
I cannot wait for the next book!

I have tried reading this book a couple of times now but it is time for me to throw in the towel. I was so excited and I really wanted to love this book because I have loved the previous series so much.
This one though... it left me confused and bored. I think the world building was too much for me and the writing felt overcomplicated.
I had to DNF... which makes me sad, but it is what it is. Maybe I will still give the next one a go.

I think I’m in the minority here…. But I just couldn’t get into this book. I tried to give it a chance, but I was bored. The prologue pulls you in, but Chapters 1 & 2 were just hard to follow. The conversation between the MMC & MFC was just odd to me. I wasn’t a fan. Sorry.
Maybe I will give it a try again later.

Careful ma… I might like that
Anyone who knows and has followed my reviews for a while knows my love for the Brayshaw boys. They are a comfort reread for me so I have been dying to get my hands on Bass Bishop and in his head for a looooonng time. But when I tell you, I was not ready for the enigma that was Bastian Bishop. He definitely gave those Brayshaw boys a run for their money with being top tier book boyfriends.
Rocklin was the perfect heroine for him. Sassy to his possessive. Strong to his streetwise and stealthy to his overprotectiveness. They balanced each other out and those first few chapters where they were bantering back and forth had me flipping the pages so quickly to see how they were going to one up each other again. These two had me grinning so hard at my kindle and internally squealing and kicking my feet.
There are certain parts where you will have to suspend your belief because things get crazy
If you love any of the following you should definitely check out Tempting Little Thief because it’s become a top read of the year for me. It was everything I didn’t know I needed for Bass and Rocklin and I’m dying to get my hands on side characters books.

This book delivers a unique plot set in an intriguing world, accompanied by a fantastic cast of new characters. This was my first Meghan Brandy book and I loved it! Without revealing too much, I can assure you that this book takes you on a thrilling journey. I was so engaged with this book from the get-go. The first half progresses steadily before an unexpected twist in the second half unleashes chaos. The non-stop action kept me engrossed until the very end, despite some moments that left me a bit perplexed. Brady's writing style is immersive, and the palpable sexual tension and chemistry between Bastian and Roclin were simply delicious. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment, as I believe this captivating couple may become my favorite in the series!

I don’t know if it was the world building or the writing style but I had a super hard time following along for the first 50% of the book. The plot was confusing. I found myself thinking I skipped pages somehow and had more questions than answers.

I feel like I’ve been waiting for this book for YEARS and finally getting my hands on it made me squeal in delight! I knew it was going to be good based on all of Meagan’s previous novels, but I didn’t realize it would be THIS GOOD. Bass is so much more than I thought he could be! And our heroine? Even better! I love a badass female lead that holds her own, and she is that and so much more! And let’s not forget the twist that I didn’t see coming. I knew there would be SOMETHING but more secrets and answers to come. They already have me hooked and immediately want the next one. I loved it!

Ever since I read Royce & Brielle's book I was excited for Bastian to get his own book and discover more about the sassy princess he bought along with him in his car and I was ready to devour this book! The plot was unique, the setting was intriguing and the new set of characters were amazing! I don't want to give away much about the plot but I can definitely say that you'll be in for a thrilling ride. In the first half, everything was going on as expected but then the twist came in the second half and chaos followed. So much was happening till the very end and NGL some parts confused me so much but I couldn't put it down. The writing sucked me in and the sexual tension and chemistry between Bastian & Roclin was delicious! I want the next book like yesterday because I think the couple in the book are going to be my favourite in the series!

I would give this story all the stars in the world if it was possible, this is honestly the part I dread the most, when I read a book that resonates with me the way this one has. Nothing I say will do the story justice or articulate the way I felt while reading. You definitely need to experience this for yourself, it's some of Meagan Brandys best work to date, but here are some of my thoughts anyways...
From the Very first page I was hooked, the world that Meagan created, and the way she was able to make us picture every detail was unlike any of her other stories. This is definitely one of Meagan's longer books, but I personally believe every word was needed. This story is mysterious, with an upper Chrest type of vibe. It's also got a little Mafia mixed in, and even more to come in the next book. This is a standalone but there is so much that sets us up for other characters to get their HEA, and I'm so excited for what's to come.
Rocklin the heroine is everything I love in a female lead, badass, she’s the total “chews men up and spits them out” type of character, she’s controlled and calculated, a born leader…. Looking for the right person to give up some of her control for, and Bastian Bishop may be just that person, her other half. Two people who are so different but yet, so right for one another.
I seriously love both of them so much, the inner thoughts of Bastian as her thinks of Rocklin, had me totally swooning, and wishing he was real, these two are going down as one of my favorite book couples, they are a dynamic we rarely see, and something special. These characters Have managed to leave me in tears, which only one other Meagan Brandy couple has managed to do, I am so head over heels for these two.
The aristocratic vibes Mixed with decadence and mystery gives this story an intense aura, that has you anxious for what's to come, I couldn't put this book down, I kept telling myself one more page, because i needed to know what was going to happen next. Do yourself a favor and run and read this story ASAP!

OMG!!! Bass Bishop's story is finally here after so long that I was craving it!!! And it was so freakin' good!!!
Bass was a revelation in here and I fell so hard for him and his possessive ways!!!
And his girl was a mix of a princess, a socialite and a badass!!!
Their chemistry was so explosive and this new world that Mrs. Brandy has created is so addictive and I just need more!!!
For those who have read already the Brayshaw Boys knows very well who Bass Bishop is, but for those that haven't heard his name before, what are you waiting for??? It has come the time to meet this enigma of a boy!!!

I loved this couple so much!!! Their encounters were so intense, sexy and possessive!!! I was never expecting from Bass Bishop to be like that and honestly, this was the best surprise ever!!!
I loved his character back in the shadows of Brayshaw, but in the Greyson world, Bass Bishop was thriving!!!
Even though he was just a peasant with a dark past, with this certain queen by his side, he could do and be anyone he wanted...
Rocklin was a strong female and she was the right pair for this boy!!!
I loved their story so much!!!

Of course, Bass and his little thief weren't the only that were catching the attention!

Days … days later and I still can’t stop reeling. I can’t stop feeling the tale that took me on the most riveting roller coaster. This Tempting Little Thief stole my heart and ravaged my soul, and I loved every meaningful moment. I was catapulted into the Greyson world where I breathed every word, not wanting to come up for air. Utterly hypnotizing! Oh my did this love story shake me to my core, decimating me in the best way. I was blown away!
I’d been craving Bass’ book for what feels like forever. Days … days later and I still can’t stop reeling. I can’t stop feeling the tale that took me on the most riveting roller coaster. This Tempting Little Thief stole my heart and ravaged my soul, and I loved every meaningful moment. I was catapulted into the Greyson world where I breathed every word, not wanting to come up for air. Utterly hypnotizing! Oh my did this love story shake me to my core, decimating me in the best way. Though Greyson is a completely different society, they are allies with Brayshaw, and we get a glimpse or two of our favorite Bad Boy Brothers of Brayshaw. Which is always a yummy treat!
Meagan does an amazing job building this new society & world for us, as well as sharing its backstory. In such a fabulously detailed manner, that you get pulled in and instantly invested.
We learn Bass’s Backstory, as well. His childhood. How he came to Brayshaw, ended up as an Enforcer (Overseer) for them and how he handles the Warehouse. And, in more detail, what that all entails. Lots of badassery! Along with his best friend, Hayze. The one person he truly trusts, connected through past trauma, & the nightmare he left behind. Bass has learned & earned his keep, and well. Very well. And now he craves more for himself. And a better life for his sister.
A chance encounter thrusts him into Rocklin Revenaw’s life. 𝗙𝗔𝗧𝗘. Feeling a strong pull to her from the start. His little thief, who has everything and nothing, at the same time.
I LOVE Rocklin. She’s a baddass, too. A natural born leader. Classy, Intelligent, Strong & Cunning. And the daughter of one of the most feared & revered Kingpins. overall I have one word to describe this book: WOW!
this book kicks off in a parallel timeline to when boys of brayshaw book 1 began so we do see some lil snippets oh events that happened in that series, but it doesn’t mean you need to read the boys of brayshaw series first… I would HIGHLY suggest you do though because it is AMAZING!
also miss meagan…..the spice in this one… oh baby😏I think this is your spiciest book yet.

My heart and my brain are both mess and in complete shock! Meagan Brandy weaved such a complex and intriguing tale of secret society, power plays, action packed moments, adrenaline fuelled twists and twisted dynamics in Tempting Little Thief. I picked up this book because my tattoed bad boy punk star from the wrong side of the track, Bass Bishop. But I have fallen in love with this book for Rocklin Revenaw, the Grayson princess, for her sweetness covered in sass, ruthlessness and complete bada&&ery. They are a match made in hell and you are in for a spicy, emotional and twisted ride.
This is a book all of us OG Meagan Brandy stans were waiting for..People like us who have been obsessed with her writing from the Brayshaw world. And we all have been rabid for Bass Bishop's book! She did a tremendous job of making this book a standalone in a new world. So much of Bass' life was embedded in Brayshaw but she managed to do it all justice.
Now this plot is so complex I won't even try to explain. Rocklin is all set to rule the Grayson empire..a secret society with power and riches. She has to work extra hard to prove herself and family is life for her. Then her path collides with Bass Bishop. Completely opposite of her world. Reckless, intense and a bit crazy. My first ever Meagan Brandy book and I'm not disappointed. The hype for this book and author is real and I'm so glad I was able to get an ARC for this book!
Long story short - bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks meets a rich badass girl. I absolutely loved Rocklin. She had the perfect amount of fieriness & badassery and when paired up with Bastian's intense possessiveness, they made the sexiest perfect pair. The plot was intriguing and the book had me hooked from the start.
I cannot wait for the rest of the series!!

A good way to start this new series. I was confused in the beginning with all the different characters and families but then once it all clicked I couldn’t put it down. I do wish we could have seen more of that spitfire from the FMC at the end however I believe we will see a bit of that in the next since it’s interconnected.
Loved the unexpected plot twists I have come to expect from this author.

This is the first in a new series by Meagan Brandy. Even though this is a standalone, you first see Bastian in Boys of Brayshaw High Series. So you may want to read that series before diving into this. This book definitely made me want to go back and read that whole series again.
Four years after unaliving his abusive father, Bastian Bishop finds himself “teaching a lesson” when Rocklin Revenaw walks by. The socialite falls for the dangerous bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks.
Rocklin the FMC I love to read about: badass, total “chews men up and spits them out” type of character, she’s controlled and calculated, a born leader. Rocklin was the perfect balance for Bastian. Feisty to his possessive. Strong to his streetwise and sneaky to his overprotectiveness. I absolutely loved their banter back and forth in the first few chapters. The jealousy scenes…!!!!!! The inner thoughts of Bastian about Rocklin had me melting…I am head over heels for these two.
This story was intense and definitely kept my guessing and on my toes. The storytelling was amazing and I can’t wait to continue the series!

Bastian Bishop is rough, rugged, and completely unpredictable. He's not cautious or contemplative. He's a volcano. Silent and steady one second and a nightmare in the next. But the worst part is he's an outsider, and in her world, outsiders are unwanted and unwelcome. They can also disappear without a trace, but Bas doesn't seem to care. All it took was one night of reckless rebellion, and the tattooed hellion keeps coming back. She should end things before her father discovers his existence and does it for her. But Bas says he's hers now, and nothing will stand in his way. He doesn't understand that Rocklin is a Girl of Greyson, like a coveted queen in the underground crime world. No matter how dangerous things may be, when betrayal hits unexpectedly, nothing makes sense but him.
Bastian was everything I love in my favorite men. Rocklin was strong, and I loved her. The plot was addictive. It kept me on the edge of my seat as well as an exciting rollercoaster ride. I highly recommend this read. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Zaczynając 𝐙𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐞𝐣𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚 nie miałam żadnych oczekiwań a jednak książka skradła moje serce. Ta książka przenosi czytelnika w przestępczy świat, pełen niesamowitych silnych postaci. Meagan Brandy zdołała mnie zachwycić już od pierwszych stron, a ta historia z pewnością nie będzie moją ostatnią lekturą autorstwa tej pisarki.
Bastian ma do czynienia ze swoim agresywnym ojcem jako dziecko. Podczas gdy ten aspekt był smutny to dodał też głębi Bastianowi i pozwala nam dowiedzieć się trochę o jego historii i skąd pochodzi / jak dorastał.
Rocklin, mimo bogatego pochodzenia, nie jest typową księżniczką czekającą na ratunek. Jej determinacja i umiejętność radzenia sobie w trudnych sytuacjach sprawiają, że staje się niezwykle silną postacią, pełną głębi i sprzeczności.
Styl pisania Meagan jest wciągający, a wyczuwalne napięcie seksualne i chemia
między Bastianem i Rocklin było po prostu przecudowne.
Nieprzerwana akcja pochłonęła mnie do samego końca, pomimo
kilka momentów, które wprawiły mnie w zakłopotanie.
Mimo że czytałam wiele książek z podobnymi elementami akcji, to ta historia zdołała mnie zaskoczyć i wciągnąć do samego końca.
Naprawdę się ucieszyłam kiedy na koniec książki niespodzianką Rocklin nie była ciąża tylko zemsta dla Bassa.
Ta książka jest tak świetna że napewno do niej jeszcze wrócę, mogłabym powracać do niej tysiące razy i wciąż dowiadywać się czegoś co pominęłam.
