    Western Digital was the number 1 Hard Drive to buy. Today I'm not sure where they're at but I needed a few M.2 SSDs & since they came with a free Version of Acronis, why would I buy something different.Acronis is easy to use, but for those who are 2nd guessing it, I'll post some Step-By-Step Instructions.1: You'll have to have your Western Digital Blue Drive, (In my case, an M.2 SATA Solid State Drive.) & have it connected to your PC. If it's a Laptop, of course, you'll have to have it connected to an External Drive Enclosure...2: Install the Free Version of Acronis True Image for Western Digital Blue.3: As shown in the 1st picture, once on the main screen, look for ''Disc Clone''.4: Click on Disc Clone, then in the next window, choose ''Automatic'' & whether you want to copy the entire Storage Drive, or if you just want to copy the Operating System. (So far I've made 2 copies of my 1st Dell Inspiron 13-7378. One of the complete SSD & the 2nd one is just of the Operating System.5: Either Click on ''Shut Down PC when finished, or leave the box unchecked. At any rate, you'll need to shut down the PC so you can disconnect your Cloned Drive, Plus the program will tell you if the Disc Clone was a success..6: If you know how to swap out your SSDs, then you can test it.Since I have 4 Dell Inspiron 13-7378 Laptops, I'm Cloning extra copies of my Windows 10 Pro Laptop..It took about 1/2 hour to clone a 256gb drive with 142gb of data on it. I'm actually using one of my Cloned M.2 Drives now...I hope I was able to explain the operation well enough for you to do your own Disc Clone...

    I am not a techi by any stretch, but over the decades have replaced TV tubes, was an early computer adapter, and generally became the default guy that connected electronics and kept the copier running. So I thought I could easily insert the WD SSD...maybe my vision isn't as good as it should be, but had to try to insert the card multiple times, before I found the correct angle to seat it. After that I now have a large SSD to move files to and fro. As an aside the WD app, which came with it, also allows me to access my WD My Book, which hasn't been supported lately, but now connects easily, and the app allows me to see all my drives through it. I am a happy guy!

    My original SSD was only 256gb and I was out of room. I was able to clone the old drive onto this drive and it worked like a charm. Now I have double the space this drive actually seems to be a little faster than the original hard drive even though it’s a SST Sata Drive. I don’t know if you could really recommend it for gaming because the new technology SSD drives are so much faster. but this was the only version compatible with my PC.

    Do some research and check your laptop or pc model before purchasing. Make sure you have the right cut slot M or B or both. Also keywords to check is MSATA or NGFF for this particular drive. Installation is not easy on my old HP laptop and I had to do a search to figure out how to get the BIOS to see it. I was able to find enough source material about how it can be done and there are even youtube videos to help thankfully. Nice storage capacity 2TB instead of my old one 256G. I've purchased from GoHardDrive before, they are a great seller and have great products at more than reasonable prices.

    I purchased a Mac mini. with 256 gig of internal SSD. This was added as a second drive external to my Mac mini and it works fast and perfectly so far. It has been just over a month. To keep an eye on it for problems I purchased software to keep tabs on the life of the drive. It shows no issues, but it has only been a short time. When I load a new app onto the Mac mini, I place it in this drive. I also use if for music and pictures and misc things, saving space on my 256 gig drive. Very happy.
