Unbeatable Acoustic String

These have been my go-to acoustic string for years. Pickup, no pickup, magnetic, piezo, ANY acoustic guitar. They are a nickel-iron alloy that works great with every pickup or none at all. And the piece de resistance -- they hold up as well or better than any acoustic string, phosphor-bronze included. They also stay in tune better than any other -- a total win-win-win!

New life for an old archtop.

I was using flat wounds on an old Epiphone Emperor Regent. The guitar has a great natural resonance, but the flats weren't producing the tones that I was looking for. I wanted to make the most of the acoustic properties while using strings that would produce a good magnetic response for the floating pickup. The White Bronze strings are the answer. Not only do these produce a balanced signal for amplification, their acoustic properties are full, bright, and harmonically pleasing. I liked them well enough to put a set on a flat top acoustic, and am experiencing equally good results.

Really good for mag pick-ups

I'm using a DiMarzio Black Angel in my Martin CEO-7. After having reduced the height of the B and high E poles, I was still a bit unsettled by their balance when amplified until I read about these White Bronze strings and gave them a go. Wow. If you own a mag pick-up equipped guitar, you might want to try them. There's definitely some kind of acoustic chemistry there.
