About this item
- Whole house water filter that protect your family and household appliance from iron, manganese and more: Our 3rd stage iron water filter (FM25B) is specially designed for iron and manganese removal, reducing iron (MAX 3.0 ppm) and manganese (MAX 1.0 ppm). The water filter lasts up to 3 times longer than greensand due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process. This whole house water filter system also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, herbicides, industrial solvents, and more.
- DIY installation and maintenance - refer to our manual and our helpful YouTube videos for easy DIY installation. With 1 in. NPT inlet / outlet and 20 in. x 4.5 in. water filter cartridges, WGB32BM whole home water filter system has minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimum maintenance.
- Top-notch quality - the first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter achieves filtration down to 5 microns. The second stage carbon block filter is made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both water filters are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Both water filters have a capacity of 100,000 Gal. of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.
- Peace of mind customer service - register online to activate your 1-year manufacturer warranty and life-time free tech support from U.S. local support team. We stand behind our products and if you encounter any problems with any of our products please reach out to us immediately. We are happy to help!
- Please note - this whole house water filter is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home; unlike an RO system, this whole house water filtration system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water; if you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. Please unwrap the cartridges before use.

Product Description
Whole House Water Filtration System Made with Quality
|
|
|
---|---|---|
The First Stage Water FilterThe first stage of iSpring WGB32BM whole house water filter system is a sediment water filter. iSpring FP25B Multi-layer filtration allows for fewer clogs and minimal pressure loss. This water filter is specially designed to remove sediments, dust, sand, large particles, silt, dirt, and rust that can clog the filters that follow. |
The Second Stage Water FilterThe second stage of iSpring WGB32BM whole house water filter system is a carbon water filter. iSpring FC25B carbon block water filter uses high-quality coconut shell carbon and highly compact fabrication tech for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. It filters up to 100,000 gallons of water (or lasts up to 12 months) and removes up to 99% of chlorine from water, as well as color, cloudiness, and various taste and odor compounds. |
The Third Stage Water FilterThe third stage of iSpring WGB32BM whole house water filtration system is an iron & manganese water filter. iSpring iron & manganese reducing water filter efficiently reduces iron (max 3.0 -> 0.01 ppm) and manganese (max 1.0 -> 0.01 ppm). It lasts up to 3 times longer than greensand due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process. Filtration Capacity: 50k gallons at 3.0ppm for iron If your water is hard (TDS / Total Dissolved Solids > 300 ppm), please add a water softener (such as iSpring WCS45KG) before your water filter system for the optimal result. |
Frequently Asked Question
Q: With this whole house water filter system, do I still need to install a water softener if my water is very hard?
A: Yes, a water softener is needed if your source water has a high level of hardness, usually with TDS higher than 300 PPM. Hard water can reduce the lifespan of whole house water filter cartridges. The harder the water, the greater amount of scale buildup occurs, and the sooner the filters get clogged.
It is recommended that you install this WGB32BM whole house water filtration system after your water softener to achieve optimal performance if you have hard water.

Date installed: June, 2022
First Filter change: May, 2023 (note house is barely used from Nov to May, seasonal log cabin)
Upstate NY, well water
Filters: Sediment filter => GAC+KDF filter => CTO Carbon filter
Professional plumber install - paid $800, well worth it, they have the tools, they have the skills, they have the patience, well, most of the time.
To do it over again: would 100% get the Spin-down filter to lessen load on sediment filter. May still do this but may not have room. Nick, if you're reading this and seeing the pics, what do you think?
We research every major purchase, whole house filter was a major need. Built a log cabin on a small lake in the Adirondack park in upstate NY. Well drilled about 200'. Water is potable, tested several times, but there was some flakey silver particles and other sediment in the toilette and clogging up the screens. Water tasted just fine but needed to get rid of this sediment. We looked at several companies and settled with iSpring for the sheer quality of their product and the amazing customer support. I dealt with Nick in the beginning of the purchase process and he guided me to the right product and the right filter combinations. Nick is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and understand customer service and a good dude.
Was going to give it go to install it myself as there are good videos out there but went the professional plumber route and glad I did. We included a bunch of shut-off valves with a bypass and plumber put in a faucet to relieve the pressure when you change the filters (great idea). I wish he had put a pressure valve before the filter system and afterwards to see if there's pressure drop. We had one small issue which was one of the cannisters was damaged in transport (threads). Called iSpring, luckily Nick picked up, and he sent me replacement right away. Installed with no leaks, no issues. You will notice what the sediment filter is picking up which is amazing that was going through the house and we were drinking it. Water is clear, no sediment in toilette bowl or the faucet screens and taste amazing - neighbors come here now to fill their water bottles. We changed the filters after 11 months (6 months of heavy use). Sediment filter was replaced (obviously after seeing the pics), KDF filter was fine, carbon filter replaced but looked okay too (see pics). We finished our basement over the winter and the unit is now enclosed.
Note: not easy removing the housing to change the filters, you will need two of those wrenches for sure. They're heavy when full of water so have a bucket underneath. When re-installing, don't overtighten and make sure your gasket is good and apply a bit of silicone to it before spinning it back on. Make this purchase, you will be amazed and even more amazed by the excellent support you get - that's what really did it for us as iSpring stands out in this area. Thanks Nick and the entire team there.
