After a sudden, dramatic, devastating breakup, Dex and Tracy tried their best to continue being good moms to their daughter Kendall. But they accomplished that in a unique way. Family members served as go-betweens, allowing Dex to have frequent visits with Kendall, while not interacting with Tracy at all. No visits, no calls, no emails, no texts. They have spoken not a single word since the night that Dex was banished from their home.

Surprisingly, Kendall handled the split very well. Her parents’ lives ran on parallel tracks with no drama whatsoever. They were deeply involved with Kendall’s life, just not each other’s.

Now she’s about to graduate from college, and her fondest desire is to have both Dex and Tracy attend her celebration. But since she learned early on that her moms would never choose to share space, she’s had to get creative.

Their forced meeting careens from anger to tears to slap-stick to tender reminiscences. And that’s just in the first hour.

Kendall’s thrilled to be getting exactly what she wanted, and now that the wall of silence has been breached, there might be space for more. Maybe much more…

Susan X Meagher was born in East St Louis, Illinois, an industrial river town in Southern Illinois. She has spent long periods of time in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, the Jersey Shore, and now New York’s Hudson Valley. She lives with her wife and, when she’s lucky, a foster autism service dog in training.

Her first few books were posted on the web and eventually became the I Found My Heart in San Francisco series. The series is now 25 books long and is scheduled to wrap up in 2025.

In addition to the series, Susan has published over 25 stand-alone novels, as well as three short story collections. All explore the lesbian/sapphic/WLW experience. Traditional romance, friends to lovers, second chance, no strings attached, celebrity, slow burn, age-gap - Susan’s novels cover a wealth of characters and follow their journey to love.

Her stories revolve around aspirational relationships that two women can build, and how those relationships can strengthen the individual, the partnership, and their families.

Nearly all of Susan’s books are contemporary romances and she believes strongly in the happy ending that we all deserve.

Her website is susanxmeagher-dot-com and all of her books are available here on Amazon. For a little more info, you can use the link on her website to join her mailing list.

You don’t need to have seen the movie to enjoy this take which is vastly different. I was rooting for Dex from the start.

I started with a sample read…the humor sold me and it remained throughout the book.
I really liked the way addiction was handled with positivity.

Dex and Tracey had split many years ago and their daughter, Kendall, is about to graduate from college. Kendall desperately wants both of her mothers to be there. The reunion is a volcanic eruption that leads to anger, laughter and tears. Will there be healing and forgiveness? A fabulous author.

I’m now on my second reading of this wonderful offering by Susan X. Meagher, and
Ike so many others, my favorite to date has been All That Matters. But this one is a 1b to that one’s 1a.

Meagher has taken two of the most delightful second chance romance films of all time, used the change of the couple from het to sapphic to advantage in order to add extra dimension to Dex’s long standing deference to Tracy’s wishes, and done a masterful job of recreating some of the American aristocracy portrayed by Hepburn and Grant by including such a richly illustrated Haven family supporting cast.

A truly wonderful read.

Beautifully written story of Dex and Tracy’s journey to a life of love, respect, trust, and support. They shared a daughter, Kendall, who had an amazing outlook on life. After obstacles were thrown their way, Dex and Tracy found their way back to each other with Kendall and Dex’s mom’s help. Dex’s family was hugely supportive of this little family and one that I sincerely wish I had emerged. A very good read. I heartily and enthusiastically and unequivocally recommend this and any other works by Susan X Meagher Thank you! Peace

I really enjoyed this. I thought the family dynamic was fun and not something we see a lot of in sapphic romance.

I think this is one of the best books yet by Meagher. I started the San Francisco series when it was still online as fanfiction and loved it. This one had me laughing, crying and enthralled from the beginning. No spoilers but do yourself a favor and plan a weekend to read. I bought it Friday afternoon and didn’t put it down until I finished after 1 in the morning.

This was a beautifully written book. I greatly appreciated the story-telling and loved learning about the MC and their journey.
So many times I got choked up emotionally, with tears falling on occasion because of the realness of the storyline.
Definitely worth a purchase and a read!👏🏾👏🏾

5.0 out of 5 stars Trust and forgiveness - gone and never regained?
Reviewed in Australia on December 31, 2022
Trust and forgiveness - two vital elements in a relationship that evades the women at the center of a typical Meagher novel. Typical in that she never short-changes a reader and always delivers a well-written, richly colored, and satisfying narrative. Although a conclusion - and happy ending - is a given from page one, how the characters and the reader get there is not. Full Circle is no exception. The great love between Dex and Tracey cannot withstand a flaw and failure on Dex's part. That it involved their daughter Kendall makes it worse. How does it work out? Read and be unable to put the book down until you find out!
