I'm definitely going to try more of these.

These come standard on American Pro and Pro II Strats and Teles according to the soec sheets. I'm loving them on the Am Pro II Strat I bought. I normally play D'Addario XL120's. These have a slightly different feel to me.
Music background: serious hobbyist for 40 years

Best Strings for my Tele

Don't ever stop making them unless armageddon comes and even then don't stop

fender jazz bass flat wound strings

I have been using fender flat wound strings on my jazz bass for over40 years. I tried rotosound round wounds 1 night, and after the first set was over, I went back stage and put my old flat wound strings back on to finish the night. Monday morning I went to Ace music in Miami and got 2 more sets of flat wound fenders.

Awesome Strings

I wouldn't normally take the time to write a review for guitar strings but the 250L's really impressed me, and sound and feel fantastic. I was a long time user of Super Slinky strings and tried these on a whim. Now I use these on all my electrics.

Sweetwater has an awesome price for these when you buy them in quantity, and the free shipping makes the purchase a no-brainer. Give them a try.

Great for bending

I use 10's on most of my guitars, but when I want to do some serious bending, I always end up using
one of my Telecasters or Stratocasters with these 9's installed.
These are what is supplied on a lot of the new Fender guitars you get.
While 9's on other guitars (like LP's) does help in bending, I just get better results out of the Tele/Strats.
Now if your Eric Clapton, or play guitar for a living, you probably use 10's as you do this all the time.
I am a professional drummer, not guitar player, so I need help when attempting this task.
I also find that I will not break as many strings on a Fender Barrel bridge.
Music background: Professional drummer, Hobby guitar, bass, keyboards
