What a book, what a conclusion. God how my heart is broken, I just can't put into words exactly how I feel. I wasn't expecting any of what happened. The curveballs this book delivered shocked me to my core and tore at my heart in both good and horrific ways. I found myself with tears in my eyes asking why? But to answer your questions, you'll have to read this book and find out the answers.
We were left hanging at the end of the Trust and we were pretty much feeling the same for a long time in this book. I can't say much about what happens in this story. All you need to know it's a great story that plays with your emotions and leaves you with no questions. Camille is one strong bold and lost woman and I don't think until the end of the book, you realize just how this all affected her.
I know my review is vague and probably confusing but I need to be like this, as it will be spoilt if I even say a name or mention too much. I can't even let on who is in Camille's life. Just know this was a great conclusion to this story and I totally recommend it.

This book contains multiple trigger topics. If you or a loved one has experienced any of these please make sure you are in a safe place before attempting to read this book.
I have one major author pet peeve. That's an author who completely misrepresents their work. On the product page of Fate the author says this of Fate.
"A light, steamy, second chance, contemporary romance."
At 73% she includes a reverse harem scene between blood related brother's and Camille where I live this isn't just taboo. Maxim could be placed in state custody.
At 80% Camille is kidnapped (again)
At 85% Vincent is unalived by the kidnapper.
Where on planet earth are these things light, steamy and contemporary? As I want to make sure I never visit there.
In book 1 I thought it had a gross RH vibe but I blamed it on bad editing. As certain acts with siblings is repugnant to the majority of society. Right? So I took a chance on book 2. 😝😝 I wish I hadn't. Family can be too close. Wish I could unread both books.

I absolutely love the dual point of views in this book.Their view points enable us to really dive into each of their emotions and thoughts absolutely breathtaking.
My heart has been firmly racing throughout and 𝐃𝐀𝐌𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 are some serious sauciness within. I fell again completely in love with Jonathan and left me 𝐒𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆.
The chemistry and relationship has been on one helluva a journey that as a reader we truly connect with. Plus I'm a sucker for rockstar romance. But add in those jaw dropping twists and turns and damn your in for a ride.
With full moon back in town i am in 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 with them & these books and super exited for more from Stacy!!

Just like the first book there are just no logical reasoning to make sense of the decisions made in the story.
Vincent didn’t do anything to get in contact with Jonathan five years ago but then in the present day goes to see him? Why not five years ago? I understand Camille being so upset but at least she tried. Vincent just took advantage of her vulnerability and put his own feelings for her in place of what she needed. He watched her cry herself to sleep. Yes he stepped up but that didn’t need to happen. Vincent didn’t try to contact Jonathan AND cut his parents out of his life for no real reason.
For a book to be good the reasonings have to be believable and explained enough to be acceptable. Sometimes in a book there are things we don’t agree with but we accept that as a reader because they make sense to the characters story. In these books, not a lot of it makes sense, there’s no depth or real meaning to the choices made. It’s just feels written for the sake of writing a story.
E.g Vincent cutting out his parents. It was written to fit in the story of Jonathan not knowing he had a child. There was no real explanations for Vincent’s decisions. We had to read it and accept it for what it was. Where were the parents? Did they try to contact either of them? They would’ve known they had a grandchild.
When writing each decision made can’t be written ‘just because’, it has to fit the story, it just makes everything so superficial and unbelievable otherwise.
I wrote the above paragraphs before I got 74%…..no just no. Don’t get me wrong, I read a lot of spicy books. I’m not against mfm in any way at all. I’ve read 204 books so far this year, and many have sharing in them and explicit scenes. In this book it came out of left field. This book has no character development at all. For it to be believable it has to be written well.
I nearly stopped reading but I skim read the rest just to see how it ended. The ending was better than I’d hoped. I hate to harsh and hardly ever give two stars. I’d hate for an author to read this and feel sad. If you do read this, we need more depth to the characters. We need to be able to FEEL the decisions made are right for them. We need clarity to the decision and why they were made. There’s no such thing as a perfect person, so there can’t be a perfect character in a story. But for it to be plausible we need real feelings and explanations, not just words on a page that we have to accept.
