Real-time Orchestrator
Ideal for jazz, funk, R&B, blues, Latin, pop, hip-hop, and more, Fable Sounds Broadway Big Band 2.0 gives you a vast arsenal of contemporary brass, reed, and rhythm section virtual instruments. But impressive content is only half the story. Broadway Big Band's cutting-edge Real-time Orchestrator (RTO) feature lets you play a complete section on your keyboard, with your notes being distributed in real time to the instruments in the RTO multi based on orchestration patterns you create yourself. Powerful and very easy to use, RTO is amazingly useful for live gigs and recording. You even have articulation presets that can replace built-in key switching with external MIDI triggers such as footswitches, liberating your left hand from key-switching duties so you can play with both hands.
The Unison section
Deploy any of the Broadway Big Band wind instruments multiple times in an arrangement or multi, and even when playing unison, you'll hear a lifelike multiple-instrument section. Even with multiple instances of the same instrument, you'll get a realistic section of multiple instruments playing in unison! No mere doubling effect, Broadway Big Band's Unison section actually uses different samples and makes subtle adjustments to ensure each instance of the instrument sounds slightly different from the others. The results are stunningly realistic. Further, the Unison section has "Humanize" and "Detune" controls for even more control over the sound of your sections.
Velocity Curve control
Due to the extended dynamic range of Broadway Big Band's wind instruments, a MIDI keyboard's velocity curve may not be sufficient to keep dynamics under control. To compensate, Fable Sounds added a Velocity Curve knob, which helps adjust the responsiveness of Broadway Big Band instruments to various MIDI controllers. You can also MIDI-automate the Velocity Curve control to change settings as needed within a song.

Broadway Big Band includes multiple microphone setups that give you the flexibility to easily place instruments in your mix, regardless of genre.
