FRUIT FLY

An artist workshops her latest piece in San Francisco while looking for her biological mother. In the process, she finds chosen family, clues of her mother's whereabouts, and the possibility that she just might be a fruit fly. Praised by Filmmaker Magazine for its “loud and proud textbook guerilla filmmaking”, Fruit Fly was listed in the LA Times “Asian American Canon” and has been a staple of Asian-American and Queer cinema during the months of Pride and Filipino American History Month.
